It seems that many people don't realize that the best relationship with China among the various forces in Bangladesh is with the Bangladeshi military. Bengali military officials have long and frequent visits to China, and most of the weapons of the Bengali army come from China.

And if the U.S. recklessly enters Burma through Bangladesh, it will inevitably face a war quagmire even more horrific than Afghanistan. Many people simply don't understand China's influence over northern Burma. Even the Christian Burmese KIA, which the U.S. government wants to support, depends on the Chinese Jingpo people to provide material from Ruili, China. One hint from the Chinese government and the KIA would turn their guns on American soldiers.

We simply don't believe that the US is stupid enough to build a military base in Bangladesh. Unless the U.S. wants to keep spending trillions of dollars on the military in Burma. Indians should stop continuing the rumors.

Yes these are rumors only.... I have already explained it makes no sense for USA to have military base in Bangladesh.... Bangladesh location does not offer anything geographically or strategically....
If they want to maintain presence near Myanmar then Andaman-Nicobar island is the most sensible option....

Once US military establishes itself on any island, India will never be able to take it back. Ideally, Diego Garcia island should have been handed over to India, but the British gave it to USA. Can India take it back by force? once US military establishes itself in Bangladesh, it will be very difficult for India to remove them. They might fund insurgents in Northeast India, Bihar, Bengal, and Jharkhand, and blackmail India over Kashmir in favor of Pakistan. This is the reason why India opposes the presence of the US military in Asia.

And main point is they can even do it today like blackmailing us... they do not need to stay geographically closure to us to do these things... the have done this in the past.... 1971 they sent entire 7th fleet to destroy India.... today they have such a modern fleet and submarines with ICBMs that their single submarine can destroy 11 major Indian cities with impunity.... what can we do?

Instead give them 1 or 2 islands get under their protection shield and keep developing economy be a first world nation.... instead handling alone China and Pakistan type 2 nuclear powers with close cooperation with each other compromising 1 or 2 islands is the best solution.... Japan, South Korea, UK these are also the great powers still they also do the compromises...
