Can I come to BD and do a critical analysis of Quran and the Prophet? I see that being done of bible etc by university kids on a day by day basis in USA, Canada, UK etc.

Heck, you can go and tell to the face of evangelicals that they are nuts and all their faith is a lie. What will happen if I say same to a Jamaat in BD?

Indians are lynching muslims on suspicions of eating cow meat. On what basis you want to go to Bangladesh to insult Islam and prophet to humiliate Bengalis?

Once US military establishes itself on any island, India will never be able to take it back. Ideally, Diego Garcia island should have been handed over to India, but the British gave it to USA. Can India take it back by force? once US military establishes itself in Bangladesh, it will be very difficult for India to remove them. They might fund insurgents in Northeast India, Bihar, Bengal, and Jharkhand, and blackmail India over Kashmir in favor of Pakistan. This is the reason why India opposes the presence of the US military in Asia.

You suffered from allowing USA with bases because USA was not fighting against proper conventional force.... they were fighting against Taliban terrorists....

Here in India case if we allow them bases it will be directed towards China.....

India cannot handle China alone and USA would love to have India as an ally who is weak compared to China but is a heavy-weight power that can surely make things much easier for USA.... so in east Asia USA with Japan, Taiwan, South Korea and in South Asia and IOR another heavy-weight joins will be a win win for USA.....

If USA is ready to deploy all her assets like ABM and other things for the protection of India like they do in European countries or in Japan and South Korea then I'm all for going ahead with a bases to USA in India....

If USA genuinely wanted India to be a militarily strong country to counter China, they should have first offered a 100% technology transfer of GE F404 and F414 engines. But, they did not, they see India as a threat as much as China. This doesn't mean they will completely oppose either China or India; instead, they will continue to leverage small neighboring countries like Bangladesh and Pakistan around India, and Taiwan and the Philippines around China. They will also seek to build a consensus with India to counter China, but their ill intentions toward India remain unchanged.

The Pak folks are sleeping tight for they know their Deep State is ever awake - for better or worse....

Kidding aside, the situation in BD is really very fluid. Every organization - public and private - are penetrated so deep by Hasina's mafia gang that it'll take very long time to cleanse it even if it's ever possible....

As a bad parable, imagine if the Pak folks suddenly find that their top Deep State folks aren't there, and nobody knows who can put his finger on the "button"....

Hence, from the Islamic perspective, evolution is preferred over revolution. The Pak folks might afford an evolution, but the BD folks had no choice other than a revolution (minimally quasi of course). Reis Erdo'an started that evolutionary process in Turkey in 2002. Needless to say it takes extreme Sabr and Shukr to be on an evolutionary path....

Whatever violence happened immediately after Hasina resigned was directly as a result of political vengence. Both muslim and hindu BAL leaders and supporters had faced the wrath of angry mob.

If BD is to move forward then those involved in the mob justice need to be arrested and tried as per BD law. There is plenty of video evidence of the perpetrators to find at least some of those responsible.

Even a mass murderer has the right to a fair trial.

I cannot agree with those that excuse lynchings as that just breeds a cycle of hatred and stops the country from leaving the past behind it.

No one is, that's why from students to civil society to political parties have all condemned the act and immediately released statements to stop it. The situation under control now.
