I hear Indian asset Hasina is having great difficulty in finding permanent refuge abroad?

Good thing Pakistan is going through its own political crisis otherwise ISI would be blamed.

The Hindutva are blaming ISI. Indian media has gone bonkers. Watch Indian media. It is hilarious.

Yes, she is now a liability for India.

India wouldn't want to ruin the relationship with the next BD gov and BD people for Hasina.

How can India be blamed for Bangladesh's economic problems

The economic backdrop of these protests cannot be ignored. Bangladesh's economy, once one of the fastest-growing globally, has stagnated, with inflation around 10 percent and shrinking dollar reserves. High youth unemployment and stagnant job growth in the private sector have made public sector jobs, with their regular wage hikes and privileges, highly sought after.

Her son is.settled in US

By the way Taslima Nasreen was also living in India

You really think you can take Coercive steps against India 😂

Modi's influence will be curtailed. That is pretty good if you ask me.

Yep.

She should have immediately compromised and either massive reduced or scrapped the "freedom fighter" quota altogether.

There were plenty of other ways to reward the AL cadre that she needed to shore up her position.

People simply do not understand that it is impossible for any government to stay in power in BD if most of the people hate you. They will rise up and pay in blood for a government they do not want to rule over them anymore.
Well..

It lasted 15 years. It’s also not gone overnight. Govt is more than just one person, there is business networks etc. It take a lot more than a few weeks of protests to dislodge something like that.

Bangladesh will get a new govt with new rhetoric but everything else will mostly stay unchanged.
