Bangladesh Socio-Political Crisis 2024 and onwards

First part is correct but 2nd is not.

India has no such power as BD has other options to get its cotton, albeit at slightly higher prices.

Yes BD will lose but so will India in as that is over 2 billion US dollars.

There is no way that India will give up on 15 billion US dollars on textile exports just to help BD.
Indian raw cotton can be used by Indian textile industry itself. BD has LDC status which will give is benefit in trade. But if its prices increase, that benefit will be nullified. Not everything will go to India but shared by other low cost manufacturers like China, Pakistan also. But India will get 5-6 billion extra export while BD will lose 15billion export
Battle of Chushul August 1842.

Now get lost. Permanently, if possible.
That was for Ladakh. No one from India entered Aksai Chin. India still has Ladakh for this reason. But India can't claim Aksai Chin as that was never conquered

Since you.are one of LEADING LIGHTS of PDF , I.request you to join Twitter and impart your Vast knowledge to ignorant Indians
Having taught university classes, I really don't need to go to Twitter for a teaching option. If you had gone to university, you might have known the difference.

What would conquest have signified? Possession of trading and staging posts? Like Daulat Beg Oldi? Do you realise that the former kingdom of Ladakh was a Tibetan protectorate? Are you aware that the only treaty between the Qing (not the Qin, as some ignoramus wrote) and any part of the British Empire was the Treaty of Chushul?

Honestly, I am tired of your ignorance and your stubborn insistence on posting on subjects on which you clearly have not the slightest grounding.

You should use your vast knowledge for earning money on Twitter

Twitter pays the accounts which have a good reach

But Also be prepared for Nasty Responses 🤪
I get those here. Imagine dealing with totally ignorant idiots who enter into arguments without knowing the elements of their subject.

This is the Typical Bengali Characteristic of Considering themselves as Superior to
Others while Fleeing away from
Their " Waste Bengal "
And who are you, and where are you, and what do you do? What qualifies you, with your less than 800 posts, to match your information capacity with others who have shown the forum that they know what they are talking about?

Bangladesh depends on India for nothing. There is nothing significant Bangladesh buys from India that can't be sourced elsewhere.

Yes but with higher prices as India is right next door.

Shouldn't we "cool" things down a bit?

He is just lashing out at some of the accusations that have been lashed out at India by both Pakistani and BD'shis posters as regards India's "control" of the Hasina Regime over the last 15 years.

If you notice when he is calm he does make sensible posts as well.

We all get a little "heated" at times and best we try to diffuse the situation rather than fighting fire with fire.
Be my guest and interact with him to your heart's content. I'm done. Both stupid and malicious count about equal in my book, but at the moment, stupid is a huge red flag.

I take your point, and he is probably all right when not stirred up, but unfortunately, when someone is so badly off target, my reactions are curt and abrupt.

If you look at the incredible military analysis that he thinks is relevant, you will see what I mean. Afif, who is on military matters an autodidact, is streets ahead of him, tried to give him a raft of information, but he has clung to repeating, again and again, that India can and will overwhelm any resistance that they meet.

Not my cup of tea. I'm not wasting time on him any more.

It is not just trade with India but raw material, machinery etc which can be used for export to other countries also count. That is significant. India can take out atleast 30% of BD textile exports by restricting raw cotton & machinery supply
So you think india have economic leverage on BD using RAW cotton and so called machineries? And?
