Sirji, I am as warm blooded Sanghi as they come, but truth is, Maldives get flights from all over the place.

Most airlines are not India and frankly do not even fly from Indian cities.

That being said, I refuse to agree to Pakistanis too that there is some weird Magic in Maldives that can not be created elsewhere without generations passing. Its the typical Pakistani mindset, which powers 1 Pakistani to 2000 Indians thinking.

mostly band hai, doc.

since pre pandemic and much before the current conflict there.. their numbers were on a somewhat steady decline..

last I heard direct from one was that the hordes are now going to south America.. Brazil, Mexico, Colombia 👃 etc

same cheap like India, better in some ways, worse in others (street crime, thuggings, muggings, snatchings etc, besides the cartel)

Indian naval base? i don't think now it's required due to sea bird naval base in karnataka now....

with all deu respect sir Maldieves main hate for india is there love for ISIS brand of islam and thats the main reason they are getting those media coverage from pakistani press with most Pakistani press journalists adressing maldieves as "Hamara Ummah birader mulk" besides that there have been found as per CIA report more than 20 ISIS cells and ISIS funding compnies in various locationsacross maldieves ... so please sir its not irrelevent and for your information lakshydveep is also 100% muslim state of india

I echo your sentiments for the large part.

but then un ka bhi samjho, unka chottu sa mulk, hamesha kuch na kuch chaldi rehdi bad situation.. these things, us type ka trauma shape a people.

sure built up a reputation forthemselves around here.. but they also left.. Dharamkot/McLeod Ganj and Tosh type pe milenge old skool Israeli cafes, many of which I found quite charming. They'd cook, explain and serve you very nicely.

Fir abaadi zyada ho gai, villagefolk said they stealing our businesses, kalesh start ho gae...

ab Brazilians ki baari aai :LOL:
