Bangladesh Socio-Political Crisis 2024 and onwards

Revolutionary government (like this one is) is not bound by the constitution. After overthrowing the regime, its job is to dissolve the current constitution. That was the premise. Which will be done in time.

Lol. You are an ignorant moron, who probably has not even read the opinion you are citing.
So, enlighten us mr over smart indian. How we are going to uphold Article 58 of BD constitution?
.
PM resigned and fled the country, MPs also fled and President dissolved the parliament.
Just because the court has acknowledged the necessity of someone assuming power in a vaccum does not make the regime constitutional
We're discussing Legality of Yunus Administration on current political context of BD. Which is perfectly legal with Supreme Court of BDs blessing.
A court's advisory opinion cannot rewrite the constitution, only an elected body can.
Nobody is trying to amend the constitution of BD. Because it isn't required.
.
But, we are asking for a brand new one.
Zia and Musharraf juntas were also acknowledged by courts in Pakistan after they destroyed the Constitution through coups.
That is PKs context. Our dictatorship was toppled using revolution. That makes our current constitution a toilet paper.

No point arguing with someone who doesn't understand what "constitutional " means. Ignored. With people like these , BD is on the fast track to become another banana republic.

This one is even more uncouth, unsophisticated and crass than the other one. Ignored.

You were not arguing, you were blabbering without presenting any valid argument.
.
Instead of BD, focus on your own shit hole...

No point in arguing. By now, their intentions should be perfectly clear to us and every neighbor with an ounce of common sense.

And oh this just in, they are not going to extradite Hasina even though we have an extradition treaty with them. This will be interesting.

Do you think with the atmosphere in BD, this is a good time to do it?

It is doubtful whether proper security could be put in place for her while she is on trial, which will be complex and potentially last many months.

Best she stays where she is now and once BD has a stable new government and the rule of law is firmly in place, then BD can request extradition for Hasina.
