Locals in Ladakh are Tibetans, everything will be just like those in today's Tibet, like Nyingchi, modernity and tradition are perfectly blended and coexist harmoniously. If there is a Sino-Indian War and China takes what is now known as Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh, what would China do with these regions? Had China prepared any development plans akin to what it has done in these parts of Southern Tibet?
Nyingchi, South Tibet, a small frontier city can be seen on the mountains from Indian side, occupied by British invaders 100 years ago
Britain once invaded and occupied Nyingchi from India 100 years ago and was repelled, Nyingchi was just one step away from being annexed into British India
Some parts of South Tibet are under China's control and some under India's. Nyingchi is to north of Macmohan line, this whole region was once invaded by the British-Indian army during the late Qing Dynasty.Isn't South Tibet known as Arunachal?
Is this Nyingchi north or south of the British mcMohan line?
Yeah just stay towards north, that works out for everyone as usual. Some parts of South Tibet are under China's control and some under India's. Nyingchi is to north of Macmohan line, this whole region was once invaded by the British-Indian army during the late Qing Dynasty.
