No one on the PDF disputes that PAF will get the FC-31 Air Force version (J-31). Our point of contention is the timing of its arrival at PAF.

Pakistan will get it after 2030s, at the moment all effort/expenses are on Jf17s and J10cs, by 2030/2032 J35s/J31 will be ready and a mature platform to buy.

Possible but i think US need India for China, It's just the matter of time when, for West Businesses, India compromise their sovereignty and leave neutrality status and becomes American Pawn and then you see a lots of F35 in indian colours and that might force Pakistan and China for little early induction.

India is certainly a factor , even more serious factors are emerging in the horizon....J31 is not India specific .....it may come even earlier than Dec 2026 .

Agree there are factors which are emerging and as early as possible is good for Pakistan and others but the issue is development need time so 2026 is too early for that unless you are saying 2-3 for training and infra-development by Dec 2026 and then when Chinese requirement got loosen than get proper induction.

Unless there intends to be a civil war between PAF Peshawar, Samungli and Masroor on one side and the rest of the PAF in the other - the J-31 doesn’t really change equations when it comes to east or west and anything beyond that from Diego Garcia or Dhafra you have zero hope to do anything against.

Lol if J31 isn't India specific then what's the purpose of buying STEALTH JET? Will it do COIN ( counter insurgency) operations against toothless Afghanistan or you're predicting J31 will use by PAF against USN/USAF jets in GCC countries?

And noway that J31 will come to PAF colors in Dec 2026 or earlier, project is still on the testing phase and only 1 prototype is flying, only some fanboys like you thinks that J31 will come in PAF colors before Dec 2026 or Dec 2026, at least J31 will not come in PAF colors before 2030-2032 time-frame

All new aircraft deliveries have delays from the targetted delivery date---2,3,5 years delay is not uncommon---.
