Russians consider it stolen land. I'm Chinese. I have no opinion about it. It is something Russians and Ukrainians have to solve between themselves.

I wonder why Vietnam and China don’t have visa free travel.

China and Thailand have recently agreed on a visa-free policy. I think it’s possible because unlike Vietnam, Thailand doesn’t have a shared border with China, and they are desperately in need of money from tourism. Personally, I’m not in favor of implementing a similar policy between Vietnam and China anytime soon. My concern is that it could potentially lead to an increase in cross-border criminal activity.

yes that´s true with Thai tourism. but that is not why Vietnam can´t follow Thailand.
Germany allows free visa and free entry to almost all countries in Europe. and you know some of those countries are not really safe against criminals. that is not a problem as long as you have the police.

Germany is getting overrun with foreigners. When Ukraine joins EU a lot of Ukrainians flee to Germany.

In a way, the Western blockade of Russians forces them to get to know, visit and be interested in other cultures. The relationship between China and Russia will only grow with this blockade, this will allow for a greater bilateral cultural relationship between the two countries, with open borders allowing this fruitful exchange.
