What people are not taking into account is which side has the strength to ultimately prevail. At the moment the US/NATO/Israel have the ability to absorb everything Iran can throw at them and still emerge victorious. They can rebuild Israel and carry on. I remember in the early Bill Clinton's regime, China was called a 'Strategic competitor' or even a 'Strategic Partner' with competition over trade, commerce.
