Their entire military man power after they activated their reserves last year was 300K!

American FOX News station:

Israel halted its attack on Iran after it was confirmed that Iran had directed 800 missiles towards the entire territory and Israeli cities with huge explosive warheads. American military experts confirmed to the Israeli army that it could not withstand the explosions of these missiles.

I said this before the best defence is OFFENCE

if you plan to defend against a attack, Iran is going to get hurt

But if iran prepares a multi missile and drone package aimed at vital Israeli infrastructure and says that if Israel hits iran then iran will immediately launch, THAT will stop Israel in its tracks

...Though still suffering some discrimination, Israeli Arabs improved their fortunes dramatically during these [pre-10/7/23] years. A friend who teaches at Tel Aviv University reports that, for the first time, he is unable to discern the national origin of his students—a testament to Arabs’ increasing assimilation. Dreams of perfect coexistence frequently crashed against the reality of tensions, but the broader development of a new Arab middle class persisted—a phenomenon that found its expression in the political career of Mansour Abbas, leader of the first Arab political party to make its peace with Zionism. A late October poll indicating that 70 percent of Israeli Arabs identify with the state suggests that this trend may be accelerating post–October 7. For Israel aspires to, though sometimes fails to live up to, the idea of equal rights for all, regardless of religion, sex, or creed. Like all other Israelis, Israeli Arabs saw firsthand how Hamas rejoiced in its butchery regardless of its victims’ religion, sex, or creed...

Not all the facets of the “new Israel” will have to give way in response to a potentially long-lasting military crucible. But some old habits will have to be relearned. Just as we see Russia and Ukraine altering fundamental features of their political and social life to meet the demands of war, so, too, Israel will have to steel itself, again, to living on potentially near-permanent war footing...if Israelis hope someday to devote themselves again to the art of peace, they must now gird themselves for a long period of war."

IDF Army is average and Gaza is heavily urbanized. Hamas had also created a massive underground infrastructure to store ammo and for movement of fighters. Hamas fighters could step out from underground tunnels in different locations to offer resistance or to ambush IDF troops in some places. Hamas had good preparation and fought very well but IDF Air Force has destroyed much of Gaza from above and IDF Army has overrun various locations and sealed Gaza. Hamas have also lost thousands of fighters and Hamas survivors in Gaza are running out of options.

Hamas top leaders have moved to Qatar and Turkey because they are not safe in Lebanon and Iran.

I am not sure about the plan of Hamas top leaders.

They wanted to extract concessions from Netanyahu? If this is the case then they misread him and played into his hands. I have watched some vides of Netanyahu. There is something about him - he is mentally tough, motivated, and will play hardball. I wonder how Hamas top leaders thought differently. Netanyahu is a right wing hardliner and he has found an opportunity to divert attention from his corruption scandals and control Gaza - this is huge for him and he will use it to appeal to his support base.

They assumed that they can destroy Israel in war? Hezbollah and other Axis of Resistance elements in the region are confronting Israel but Netanyahu's response to all is in very strong terms and even Iran is not able to stop him. The war is expanding to West Bank as well with destruction of Jenin and raids in other sectors in pursuit of Hamas fighters and their allies.

Yasser Arafat's rejection of a two-state solution offered by Ehud Barak in 2000 was a mistake that has led to an explosive situation in the region. My prayers are for the innocent in the region.

It will be a stunning miracle if Hamas can get something from the current dynamic.

This war wasn't about destroying Israel. It was about disrupting the Abraham Accords. Iran has achieved its goal.

Smotrich: “We can only end the war when there is no longer Hamas in Gaza.
Destroying Hezbollah and expelling it beyond the Litani.
Overthrowing the Iranian regime and destroying its nuclear project

Saudi's state TV Al-Arabiya should be renamed to Al-Yahuda, and al-jazeera is not far behind with their anti-iran propaganda

Last night Ibrahim went out of his house to buy bread for his family. Came back to find his son blown to smithereens - all that was left was a leg. He cried tears of blood. He like millions across the region now have become haters of Israel. The resistance gets stronger and more fearless.
