I agree
Just like we voted for labour in the UK, not because labour doesnt have it's own problems and issues but because it's major party that can WIN ELECTIONS, thus it can bring change to politics and national policy
Their was no point for the Muslim community or supporters to vote for a 3rd option and get the conservatives or worse back
Trump is a total Zionists and the Republicans are too controlled by the Zionists and evangelicals
They only positive about trump is that he will make the U.S into a total joke of a state
With some effort and community unity Muslims and pro Palestinians can form a block for the future, create areas where the politicians will need their support to win
Reach out to Muslim states for funds and support
We can change the democratic party
Bolded Part: Yes. But Unfortunately, your point and my similar points about voting for Harris are being lost here. Instead, we have good mature members here bringing up her spouse or her statements: What kind of statements she is expected to make in the political space given to her if she were to remain viable, especially in an election year. And how about the statements from Trump?? How about Trump's Jewish family members??
Over the last some weeks, I have repeatedly said things like:
-Harris has not authority--a VP doesn't at least publicly contradict the President
-Vote for Jill Stein in NON Swing States; that would be fine: Vote of your conscience.
-Both Trump and Harris have to tow the AIPAC line or else!
-A US President CAN defy lobbies to some extent and personalities do matter: Biden is lifelong Zionist, warmonger and racist. I don't see such traits in Harris. She in unproven yet and even been called a communist etc.

The Israeli press is overwhelmingly pro Trump and anti-Harris; tells you something.
'Punishing' Harris won't get you a darn thing except seeing her on the sidelines while Trump would do whatever he would want to. The guy recently even alluded to expanding Israel's borders! Yes, there was no conflict in Palestine when he was the POTUS but maybe that's because the Gazans were preparing for the October 7 attack? Have we thought of what Trump would do if he were the President on October 7?? He might be an isolationist but not when it comes to the Israel. Look at who support him! Why would he deny his cadre which is more than the AIPAC money?? His 'base' is full of Christian Zionists and looking at their full support for Israel, would it be unreasonable to expect that Trump would do their bidding?? In contrast, there is considerable presence of Pro Palestinian in the Harris camp and in democracy that matters.
The path forward I have been suggesting that the Pro Palestinian voters vote as a block like AIPAC does. Let it be known to the Harris campaign that support is conditional in 2024. If she wins and continues the Biden path then she'd pay the price in the next election cycle against an even more organized Pro Palestinian voter. AIPAC wasn't always this powerful. They slowly gained control over both political parties. In case of the Pro Palestinian voices, they have a fair chance to influence the Democratic Party over the years. Absolutely. That's how democracy works.
As for Jill Stein: I love Jill Stein. I had actually voted for her before similar to my vote for Nader in 2000. But here in the
Swing States, the Pro Palestinian voters need to work within the system to influence the Democratic behavior. It is a wishful think that Jill Stein or the Green Party will be allowed to bring a real change for decades. I saw where Ross Perot with his 19% votes ended up.
@Strigon : You could have made your point without getting too heated about it.
