If this iran deal materializes then the ac will be produced vy avic n delivered by china.
They will be called fc 1.
Restarting a assembly line is no prob for avic.
Pakistan can't afford any types of sanctions at this point in time.
China on the other hand is doing trade with iran in billions n is investing 10s of billions in iran.

Now to absorb it all like some one said above " pronto"......it all depends on how desperate iran is.
PAF completed its pilots conversion in 6 months for the f 16.......iran can do it too.

PAF can transfer its upgraded block 1 to iran " pronto".....say a sqd worth.......that in it self would be a good learning curse while avic produces its brand new ac.

Iran needs to send its pilots to Pakistan pronto to get a crash fighter conversion course on jf 17.........if that's wt iran wants n Pakistan can deliver pronto

1, CAC only has a R&D system for the JF-17, not a production system. While CAC has the ability to build a production system for the JF-17, there is no point in doing so.
2, Why doesn't CAC just export J10CE?

CAC still ships few critical components of the aircraft. Like 25%

Pronto would be the delivery of a number of block 1s that PAF requested for in 2011 after what happened in abbottobad. There was already an operational squadron there so they could absorb it fast however Iran has no infrastructure no training no ground crew trained it takes years to get the set up right. You’re talking about an airforce who at best have 70s era Tom cats that barely fly. The best comparison is 90s era PAF being given the J10C everyone from top to the bottom wouldn’t have a clue. No idea what off bore sight missiles are some idea of basic bvr.
Maintenance crew who at best may have had some training on F16A/b have no idea about the engine system etc
It’s too big a pill to swallow. Sure they’ll get it but minimum 3 years till everyone sings from the same hym sheet
It’s like teaching university level math to a kid who’s just in the middle of high school the jump / gap is too big

Iran has about a month to sort its defences out......after that the attack could be any time....could be hrs could be months.

This delay in the response....is simply due to the impending u.s elections n with things this tight.....the Biden admin wouldn't want to throw a spanner in the works by isreal attacking n as a conciquance theirs every chance that their would be a spike in the price of oil.

I think it is best for Iran to wait, and when Israel does do something stupid, Iran must escalate and really go after Israel and not stop until they have done meaningful damage and harm. Iran has to own the escalaton ladder and not be dicated by Israel on when this "finishes".

Make the response a multi-week spectacle of destroying all the things that Israel finds important and hurts Israel.

Maybe the zdk 03 presently are just the platform with all subsystem related to the awacs removed n being transplanted to another narrow body jet engine powered ac........
