It will shirk, that's true. But at the same time it will become functional. Atleast it will have common goals & agenda. BRICS is majorly viewed as alternate power group. Most nations in it wants to end dominance of the US. Countries like China, Russia, Iran are absolute anti of the US. However India is absolute ally of the US. In any organisation / group, the most vital aspect is commonality of goals & objectives. Otherwise the group cannot function. Common purpose is more important then size.

How you come to the conclusion that India is an absolute ally of the US is mysterious. Since when has our past history conveyed that impression?

Turkey being part of Belt and road initiative is just as important if not more than joining BRICS lol.

Not just turkey being denied entry to BRICS. Lula advocated for Argentina ( a hyperinflation country without sanction) to join brics but not Venezuela lol man I don't get him.

Although the news has been proven to be fake, India also blocked Pakistan's membership into BRICS even after the latter yearning publicly for one.
So much is the disrespect that Pakistan was neither invited for the summit (by Russia), nor was enlisted as a partner country (countries that seek full membership)

What can BRICS do without Pakistan, an emerging pole of Sooth Asia? BRICS cannot ever be complete without an important country like Pakistan, and hence it is destined to remain a failed group forever due to India's hegemonical behavior.

Then it's a great idea and the objective should be to pull in vital countries like Turkey, Pakistan, Nigeria, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Venezuela etc etc etc

Countries that one way or the other could form a Powerful block in the future

However this cannot happen with primadonna states acting against collective interest,
The world doesn't need a BRICS that replaces the western order with another order just as stupid with states just as deluded and dangerous like India


It needs a system they can turn to when the western order oversteps and causes problems

True, countries like India & Brazil pose a huge challenge when it comes to BRICS+ expansion, that's why Pakistan should mull over forming a new group with Pakistan, Russia, Indonesia, China, Korea(North) and South Africa, and christen it as PRICKS+ to effectively challenge the current world order.
