In their defense, Trump ended war in Afghanistan and did not start any new war. His government tried to bring peace and prosperity among Middle East countries with Abraham accords. They are hoping he has some magic that will bring peace. He is likely to end Ukraine war. Gaza, Lebanon and Iran seem unpredictable and beyond his grasp.
