Old timers on the old forum will remember

laphroaig (brief return in 2016 post North Sikkim ride, post dicking around for a few years on wab - permabanned, went back with a second sated_buddha ID and got permabanned again, strat front - permabanned, dfi - permabanned after fugin the whole forum and multiple sanghi shakhas for a few months)

adil_minhas (nationalist Indian young muslim, hates Sanghis, hates Pakistanis, came next - eventually permabanned)

padamchen (small village in borth sikkim where I had a brief encounter with a pretty local girl ... by this time I'd given up trying to hide who I was and signed off with Cheers, Doc and gave a fug ... eventually permabanned)

langda khan (the pandemic hit and I got busy, no time to breathe, eat, sleep ... came back once the world started recovering, and Pakistan went up in flames, for one final shot at the oldies, before calling a truce)

All these posts have been added to the 15,000. I rarely do short one liners. And I do put in a lot of thought and life experience into each post. So while the number is not large per that of other old timers, it spans a decade and a half of world, nation, and self experience and churn, starting from the heinous Mumbai attacks, when many of us first got drawn to the Pakistanis, to today.

I went to that marvellous site, All Things Pakistan, first, and was astounded to find that Pakistanis were decent, polite, human beings.
Then that glorious site, PTH, run by a legend. What a BRILLIANT crowd. I was Vajra there, and one more name.
Then the Sanghis swamped it, and I shifted to PakDefence.

There we were let down by the Administrator's firm policy of free speech, backed by Raza Rumi. None of us felt like contradicting that legend. We were too fond of him.

Bloody Civilian is; his posts on Islamic history are - I don't know how to describe them, they bring you right into that period that he's writing about, and you get a keen understanding of the dynamics. Hayyar Sahib is, and dominates, both as former principal secretary of J&K and a harsh critic of the religious right, and as an aesthete who trades notes with the experts as a peer. SoulSpokesman is there, and here as well, honing the sting in his tail; Gorky Sahib has dropped out, other than to send us expensive gifts every year. His hospital keeps him rich and famous.

I have never met another Parsi anywhere.

Briefly there was a hare brained young doctor who tracked me down from my writings on PDF and Strat Front. part of a largish group of Parsi docs in the west. Wanted to have me head up some sort of kibbutz building activity for them. In the west, and eventually in free Kurdistan. As an ideologue and a firebrand religious speaker. Lots of funds backing it up too. On the lines of the Amish settlements in the US.

But he was quite crude and abusive about our girls (probably wasn't able to hook up with one) and he was genuinely disenchanted with our Hindus. Living in the West.

I am a conservative Parsi. And a patriot.

That was the end of that. Very quickly.
