There is some weight in your argument that a Trump Presidency would cause so much death and destruction in the Middle East AND in American bases that a large Vietnam-like Anti-war movement would launch. In the end, even that would not help Israel which is on path of extinction unless it mends its ways drastically and quickly.
There is some hope in Trump Presidency: A large part of his 'base' is isolationist as is actually a large part of Americans in general; Americans are isolationist and insular by nature. So there can be pressure to not get involved and also Trump has to try to maintain the aura of a No War President. Note, one of the major backers of Trump is Tucker Carson who, very carefully, says isolationist AND anti-Israel words. Tucker is a big voice.
What I fear is the major destruction of the Middle East. Yes, Israel would still not be victorious and likely not even survive but the Middle East can be destroyed if Trump's worst impulses become actions.
