It seems like hiring foreign experts happens more than for the cricket team's Coaches, which some other countries do. There is surely talent in poorer countries but the political and fraternal influences bring in unwanted 'favors'.
This is good move for PIA. The airline is poised for a major revival in a short time: We will compare December 2030 with December 2025!

Karachi to London now!
I am so jealous!! OMG, it takes me 32+ hours to fly to or back from my little town in South Carolina to Karachi counting door to door. I am so jealous of those who live in Europe, especially in England!
But good job PIA! I knew it would rise to new heights--pun intended--once Mr. Arif Habib's consortium took over last December.

PIA has increased flights to London Heathrow to daily service for Islamabad, currently 2 x weekly for Lahore.

Hopefully more of the old network is restored......maybe we will see Milan, Barcelona and even Copenhagen/Oslo in future......

But London Heathrow to Pakistan direct link daily.....its great option to avoid middle east for many, specially families. The B787 dreamliners will get great loads.

I feel even Toronto should be daily flight instead of 5 weekly.
