Well PLA-symbols, low-visibility markings, no visible red prototype numbers and a shark-logo on the tail … I think its almost save to assume, this could be the first image of an operational J-15B.

So my guess is likely to be right. The so called new jet on Liaoning is J-15B.

Indeed, but we must keep in mind that there are two events, which - as it seems - are mixed: From my understanding these reports about a "new fighter" on deck and all the joy is related to the Liaoning ... while the sled-test is clearly the Fujian.

These fighters are produced in a modified mode rather than direct production line.
I think. There will be a certain number of J15Bs that will go directly to the modification shop after they are mass produced.
There are rumours that the J10C will also have an electronic warfare variant version, but nothing has been found yet.
