And it will invite a response from the houthis, etc etc, and will escalate until powers that can inflict serious damage will get involved. Everything will soon have a cost, so please keep the receipts like we do.

Damaging interests would constitute a reasonable hiding by the houthis. Did you think I meant destroy the entire US Army? In shaa Allah, but that's not what I said at any point in our discussion. Now if this escalates to the point where it spreads to the Persian Gulf and Iran gets involved, which we are far away from still, then the hiding will get bigger for sure. But that would be another hypothetical conflict or topic.
Also their reputation and authority is getting a much needed hiding.
No...the houthis have begun giving a hiding to US interests, as they have done with zionist interests. Goal posts are firmly in the ground from yesterday so if you can show me a quote where I indicated something different then I'd be happy to "concede, but not overtly".
