Iranian Chill Thread

really have nothing with separation between [+people and government and their wish to defeat of national team
its another face of the coin when two years ago a member on the old forum stated we most loose to Yemen to make people of Yemen happy because they are fighting ksa
Honestly, I know Iranians that said that about the Palestine game. Some might call that unpatriotic, but as a Muslim who shares the pain of the these people I see it as selflessness and puting aside superficial things like tribalism in favour for making happy those less fortunate than us. It's something alien in western culture, even with Ukraine they would never go to those lengths as to lose games for them. Im sure this level of Islamophobia would still exist had the previous regime remained.

more like when you attack anything Iranian in favor of supporting Islamic agenda...
also when people see some hypocrisies specially when there is elections , and other such things

also add to that economic pressure and corruption , and as a secret ingredient unnecessary laws and pressure on people
Well, from a Muslim perspective Islamic issues are more important than tribalism, which nationalism is a modern day version of. I just think those horrible tweets and instagram posts would still exist had the previous regime been in power. There has to be some accountability from who we are as Iranians and our akhlagh, instead of scapegoating the government all the time.

i see it as berating them and saying you are so pathetic and weak that i don't see you worthy of being taken serious to me you are just as a child who wrestle with his father and the father let him win so get these handouts.

and throwing a game is in contrast with the sprite of a game and is equal to cheating and giving unfair point to some one and making it harder for another one who trained and worked hard for several years

and from these people view that completely wrong they still remember these Muslim countries don't even consider them Muslim . and always have eye on their land also we have these two from our first Imam and 4th caliph

doubt that as the previous regime probably emphasized more on love of the country in upbringing the children than emphasizing your history is bad and Islamic culture is superior

Yeah, but to some people Palestine and genocide are more important than a game. However, nobody has thrown a game so far, so there is no issue there. And I agree that it could come across as patronising, so it would have the opposite effect. All I'm saying is the people who say this are saying it from a good place in their heart, they mean well, and not as synical as you are making it out.

Oh definitely, having natural love for your homeland is totally permissible. However when it takes presidence over your religion is when it becomes an issue, or you look down on others. And this nationalism is a cancer that all nations in the region have been suffering from. However with proper Islamic education people have to raise above this and look to unity upon Islam, rather than be divided because of national pride.

I'm pretty sure the previous regime would create an atmosphere where people would look down on those who are religious and these islamophobic messages would still exist. In fact evidences of it existed back then when I speak to my family who were alive then. Not to mention the spread of liberalism and wokeism would be exponential had the previous regime stayed, something I hate with a passion.

I don’t know what exactly was hit in Iraq but Israeli media is blowing up their headlines guarantee whatever was struck was Israel related they’re reporting of significant attacks on targets and not a word on civilians etc I think the Iranians finally got the hit they’ve been wanting just my guess from all the Israeli media outlets
