Zhuhai Airshow 2024

Perhaps Russia will return the favor and the J-35AE will perform at the next MAKS show, whenever that resumes.
The Russians participated in the exhibition out of business sense. Due to the influence of the Russian Ukrainian war, their su75 is still on the drawing. The only thing they can get out of their next generation fighter is the su57. Even after the war is over, the main part of the fighter trade is still the su57. At present, the world fighter market is already on the eve of rapid iteration. It is necessary to keep their traditional markets or break through with the renewal of kaan in Türkiye, kf21 in South Korea, typhoon fighter and Rafale fighter. The China Air Show happens to increase exposure opportunities

Perhaps the Algerians and the Venezuelans will come to see the Su-57. They are both major customers of Russian arms.

Algeria is a good guess. Egypt is too scared to do any business with Russia. Venezuela has good ties with Russia but it's in US backyard. They are in no position to piss off America. Latin American countries as a whole don't really put much effort into modernization. Money would be better spent fighting gangs and cartels. When I look at regions based on military strength , Latin America is second to last on the list just slightly ahead of sub Saharan Africa

So the Algerians are the ones to watch with regards to the Su-57.

Yeah but I think they might go with j-10c. Allegedly CAC has three j-10c customers. I'm not sure if the rumor is true tho.

That will be interesting to see if the Algerians make the transition from preferring Russian jets to preferring Chinese jets in their modernization. They did return those MIGs some years ago, So who knows.

The airforce version of J35 has already entered service? That's next level of working hard and talk less, J20 plus J35 with J16D,J16,J10C...what a dream combination.

J35 has not yet entered service, maybe in the next 2 years, although not much info is available regarding how many prototypes are built, we do know alot of work and testing is being done on it. It's very exciting news, it will have the latest technologies, I am hopeful it will be upgraded to 5.5th generation, possibly incorporate some 6th generation technology.
