Zhuhai Airshow 2024

Airshows aren't all about drones. It includes fighters, AWACS, transport aircraft, air tankers, and possibly bombers.

Why do you only care about the flooring of the aviation industry ~ drones?

I am not talking about Airshow
but there are no videos in general about the first flight and test flights ( CH-7 and GJ-11 )

Are CH-7 and GJ-11 in service ?

No any video about the CH-7 ( first flight - test flights )

not only CH-7 but also GJ-11

why ?

Well, if I would be mean I would say, unlike the Russians or some Turkish members, the Chinese do much lesser brag around with what they‘ve done! The just do their work and then - just like the almost „out of the blue“ appearance of the J-35A it is shown as an almost ready product!

The fact however is, both are much more secret - especially the GJ-11 - than comparable Turkish projects. That does not mean they are not real, they have issues or they are crap, it only means we know not much …

If you look closely there are indeed a few images and even a video of the GJ-11, but indeed, most of its testing happens at remote facilities far off any spying eyes or cameras and the CH-7 most likely hasn‘t flown yet.

Maybe in a few days we know more.

This is a screenshot of the GJ11 flight video, taken occasionally by a fisherman by the river, with a low engine soundScreenshot_20241104_191440_Weibo.jpg

This is the thread of Zhuhai Airshow. Not a drone thread. Drone Boy, not all countries can only showcase drones...

May I ask a question? How many KAAN does Turkey have now?

Egyptian member Sami_1 said that Chinese CH-7 is already in service

And he attacked Turkish KIZILELMA and ANKA-3 projects

His nonsense post
As well as negotiations on CH-7 or Bayraktar Kızılelma or ANKA-3.
The problem with the Turks is that their products are not ready, unlike the Chinese, who have already deployed their systems in service more quickly

GJ11 has appeared in public places, and the GJ11 flight video filmed by fishermen has also been publicly circulated on the Chinese internet. In addition, the drone performance at the Zhuhai Airshow is not at the Airshow Center, but in Doumen District, Zhuhai, and there may be a GJ11 flight performance at that time. It is likely that it has already entered service with the Air Force but has not been officially announced, otherwise the Chinese authorities would have taken down the GJ11 video captured by the public

Bro. This is a result of the great cultural differences.

In Chinese culture, “言必行,行比果”. This phrase means. If we say something, we must do it. We must fulfill our promises. Whether it's the military or a scientific research organization, once a promise or plan is released to the outside world, it must be fulfilled at all costs.
However, scientific research is not politics, and its development is fraught with many variables and risks. If their development does not materialize as planned, these researchers will face enormous psychological pressure. In the case of China's space program, the failure of the launch of the second rocket of the Long March 5 led to the delay of China's space program, and all the scientific researchers of China's space program were subjected to unimaginably great psychological pressure.

At the same time, in the Chinese military strategy culture, advocating “知己知彼,百战不殆”. When to disclose one's military situation is also a means of military strategy.

So, China usually seldom publicizes cutting-edge military technology. If China announces a cutting-edge military technology, it means that more advanced military technology already exists in China's military research institutions.

For friends interested in drones/unmanned ships, please be sure to go to Doumen District, Zhuhai City, where the drone/unmanned ship performance area is located. Currently, we are shooting only the exhibition area of the air show center
🚀 Unmanned System. System Demonstration Area
⚠️ There are currently 4 exhibitors participating in the water demonstration area of the "Second Exhibition Area" of the Zhuhai Airshow, including 9 unmanned ships. China Academy of Aerospace Electronics Technology, Yaguang Technology, and others will send multiple unmanned ships 🚢 Carry out dynamic exhibitions and performances
⚠️ The 15th China Air Show unmanned equipment (drones, unmanned ships, etc.) exhibition area has been set up as the "second exhibition area" at Doumen Lianzhou Airport and the nearby Tiger Jumping Gate Waterway
🔥 The "Second Exhibition Area" will be held from November 12th to 14th, featuring unmanned equipment such as drones and unmanned ships. The exhibition will adopt a three-dimensional display combining static and dynamic, water and air display 😎
👉 1. Drones utilize the 30000 square meter general airport in Doumen Lianzhou 🛬, Set up areas and runways for vertical takeoff and landing of drones
👉 2. The unmanned ship demonstration area utilizes the Tiger Jumping Gate waterway next to Lianzhou Airport, and plans a 1000 meter * 300 meter unmanned ship dynamic display area on the river ⛴️, You can watch the dynamic performance of unmanned ships on the riverbank

Bro,
I am not saying that China lack technology to develop a stealth UCAV
I know China has enough technology to develop a stealth UCAV .. even 6th gen Fighter Jet

but an Egyptian member SAMI-1 said that Turkish KIZILELMA and ANKA-3 are not ready while Chinese CH-7 is already in service

I just wanted to learn this is CH-7 in service or not ?

This is another Chinese drone captured by the public online in China, I don't know what model it isScreenshot_20241104_191738_Weibo.jpg

That‘s the CS-5000T … but guys, can we stop general discussions on UAVs and what country is better ? And instead concentrate on the Airshow?

It is surely not in service … but it is proof the PLAAF is also interested , involved and may get it indeed before the navy

The J-15B had less pictures of its protypes than the J-35 and then suddenly it was revealed to be already in service and in numbers at that.

It is far more easy to hide the J-35A, CH-7 and GJ11 among PLAAF land bases than the big sea flankers on two carriers and their PLAN air stations.

The big WJ-700 jet powered UAV was almost never talked about after its appearance in 2018 Zhuhai:

Then there was hint of exports a few years ago:

Then a few days ago, it shows up in the Algerian Air Force :)IMG_4393.jpeg

It is certain that CH-7 is not in service.GJ11 is clearly in service.PLA service equipment does not mean large scale equipment for it. It is categorized into small batch service and large scale service.

The PLA's UAV test base is Malan base, and any UAV that shows up here means it has entered the PLA sequence. If a certain type of UAV only appears at Malan base, it means it is not in large-scale service.
