Oh buss kar bhai……you think we are iss-toopid here?It could be true about Biden or Kamala. But Trump is the man who likes to take charge and change the situation. He is not a weak president. He is a man with Ego and honor. He will never let CIA hands free without his permission.
This is the exact reason I hate both candidate......Well, I don't hate Harris, I just dislike her, but still I hated Trump. What they failed to understand was that most Americans are dumb hicks
They keep thinking the majority are educated liberals
They are not, the moment they made the same mistake as Hillary Clinton and put up a woman against trump and a coloured and liberal woman at that I knew the democrats were cooked
And now they have four more years of a bufoon, the U.S lost it's sheen a long time ago![]()
Errr... Actually you can and there is precedent for that. You cannot create a new Senate Precedent unless you pass a bill to amend the Senate Procedure
In both 2013 and 2017, the Senate used this approach to reduce the number of votes needed to end debate on nominations.
The majority leader used two non-debatable motions to bring up the relevant nominations, and then raised a point of order that the vote on cloture is by majority vote. The presiding officer ruled against the point of order, but his ruling was overturned on appeal—which, again, required only a majority in support. In sum, by following the right steps in a particular parliamentary circumstance, a simple majority of senators can establish a new interpretation of a Senate rule.
On November 21, 2013, by overturning a ruling of the chair on appeal, the Senate set a precedentthat lowered the vote threshold required by Senate Standing Rule XXII for invoking cloture onmost presidential nominations. The precedent did not change the text of Rule XXII of theStanding Rules; rather, the Senate established a precedent reinterpreting the provisions of RuleXXII to require only a simple majority of those voting, rather than three-fifths of the full Senate,to invoke cloture on all presidential nominations except those to the U.S. Supreme Court
Again, that's the nuclear option you were talking about.

They need to have a competent condidate and get rid of Biden in a timely manner. Just having a good candidate is pointless because you can't sell it to the general public in just 3 months. If the democrats had 60% majority they could pick whatever Uber liberal candidate they wanted
BUT
They margins were TINY so In some places a few thousand votes was enough to swing the election
So if you put up a liberal female Candidate, hell even if you put up any woman candidate she would lose
Because a segment of Latino, black, male voters would NEVER vote for her and if you add liberal and woke credentials then it's OVER
If the Democrats had a candidate like Bill Clinton, Obama, hell even Kerry ie Male, confident, with a swagger
Then it would be a slam dunk for Democrats considering trump and his regular goofy mistakes
They made their mistakes and literally handed Trump the victory
Laugh.......How should the world interpret this victory?
Its beyond doubt doubt instigated a terrorist mob against the Capitol after loosing an election. Then he gets rewarded with a overwhelming victory in the consequent election.
Americans ,, even though not fully aware of it, are practically rewarding a guy for trying to etablish a coup d etat. Which is unprecedented.
This is not correct. To change the rules of the senate you require only 51 votes. Filibuster is a product of senate rules. And yes they can change senate rule to push a legislation. This was discussed in 2022 on Voting rights.Again, that's the nuclear option you were talking about.
That's for non-verbal agreement (like confirming a nominee or budget) and you need the opposition to agree that is the rule breaker (Or you can appeal). You can't have it on a normal bill, otherwise the filibuster itself would have been gone in 2013......
As Democrats push to pass voting rights legislation through Congress, there’s been talk of using a process known as the “nuclear option.”
It’s an overheated phrase that boils down to changing Senate rules to pass legislation with a simple majority.
Senators need 60 votes to do just about anything in the Senate but change the rules. That takes only 51 votes.
But the consequences of going nuclear would extend beyond voting rights. You can’t go back from the nuclear option. That’s why more moderate Democrats, like Sens. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona, aren’t yet on board with pushing the nuclear button.
Are you gonna argue Benazir Bhutto was in fact a man.Hindus have this weird fetish for handing their women to power
