Yeah, USAF and USN would give their right arms to exercise against these birds...
The PAF and PN maintain ties with the RAF and RN, respectively. The UK is a key stakeholder in deciding whether we get hardware like the Erieye, CAMM-ER, Seaspray AESA radars, AW139 (or any other Leonardo helicopter if we so choose), and others.

Absolutely noteworthy! The fact that PAF is bringing front-line Chinese fighter planes, like the J-10CPs, JF-17s to multinational exercises against premier Western fighters like the Eurofighter/Rafael/F-15 jets speaks volumes about the trust PAF places in these 'made in China' fighters. The ongoing face-off is more than just a demonstration of power; it's a testament to the capability and efficiency of these Chinese aircraft, proving that they are not only comparable but, in many ways, outshine the technology the West has to offer. Coupled with the highly trained and competent pilots, PAF continues to showcase its prowess, reinforcing the confidence that they can go toe-to-toe with any ones' best. Exciting times for PAF and a remarkable display of capability! 🚀✨ #PAFPower #GlobalExcellence

One advantage, that PAF "supposedly" has, is "Man behind the machine." What remains to be seen is, how far this "supposed" advantage fairs against the latest EuroFighter Tranche.

If these aircrafts were flown by RAF pilots, the results would be quite interesting.....

@Windjammer @Oscar @Quwa @RescueRanger @MastanKhan Comments?

RAF has excellent pilots too - they do instructor tours for PAF pilots - Im sure in that case the result would be much more even.

Hi,

That is BS to some extent---. The opponet is also very capable---.

China should have taken these factors into consideration. There should be a difference between products exported to Pakistan and those used for one's own use.
There are. Different datalinks, different algorithms for the Radars, differences in the EW gear, differences in the weapons.

The only thing is Chinese products keep getting progressively better every few years, so what was top of the line Chinese only tech in 2012 (such as the Type 052D destroyer’s radar) is cleared for export in 2022 (as the Type 052E). So what ever was top of the line electronics 10 years ago in China is probably good to go for export (with some modifications).

So it would be best for the PAF to send the ZDK-03 planes to China for an upgrade. Put in GaN AESA radars and add in some other systems to boot.

It could also be that China wants to maintain ties with the UK. Just because the US has an issue with China, it doesn't mean the UK, France, and Germany should follow.

Exactly. European countries do not blindly follow orders from the US.

Additionally - Sending J10CE to Qatar to tussle with Typhoons also serves Chinese interests. It shows that Chinese weapons are now effective against modern western systems. That information will go back to the RAF, etc and it will form decision making within NATO with regards to its possible actions against China, and raises the barrier people will need to jump over, to engage China in a conflict.

The participation of J10CE in overseas exercises forms a "deterrence shield" against the West/NATO of our systems are capable, challenge them at your peril and btw, we have J20, J16D, J35s which are more effective but you wont get to see how good they are.

It is a form of indirect messaging/signalling too ...
