The Shalimar Gardens, Lahore.

Sometimes written as Shalamar Gardens, is a Mughal garden complex located in Lahore.

Construction began in 1641 AD (1051 AH) and was completed the following year.

The project management was carried out under the superintendence of Khalilullah Khan, a noble of Shah Jahan's court, in cooperation with Ali Mardan Khan and Mulla Alaul Maulk Tuni.

"When Memon from the Run-of-Kuch area settled in Karachi, they built a beautiful and magnificent mosque in 1893 in the Saddar area named after, which has the colors of the architecture of that era,

It was called "Kuchchi Memon Masjid". This beautiful mosque consists of green and yellow colors, but the colors are not flamboyant but dull, which gives a unique impression according to the 140-year-old custom."

You took this photo from "Mangla dam memories" Facebook group collections 😊.
That group has a great wealth of such photos and the lady admin (Ms. Jac) has a great memory (although she is now around 73 years old).
Mangla Dam is not very far from my home and I have some great memories of the place. Always loved it.
