Heres one that gave me a good laugh....😏

State Department spokesman Matthew Miller issued the following statement condemning the Erbil attack:

"The United States strongly condemns Iran’s attacks in Erbil today and offers condolences to the families of those who were killed. We oppose Iran’s reckless missile strikes, which undermine Iraq’s stability. We support the Government of Iraq and the Kurdistan Regional Government’s efforts to meet the aspirations of the Iraqi people."

Theres nothing quite like the "rules based order",ie theres one rule for us and another very different rule for you.;)

Longest range (1200km) but not the largest

The largest was in 2001 when IRGC fired 70+ Shahab-1 missiles at MEK camps in Iraq

It'll be nice to get a view with different metrics and compare with the Shahab-1's:

- total equivalent TNT delivered vs Shahab-1's
- average equivalent TNT per missile delivered vs Shahab-1's
- average equivalent TNT per missile TYPE delivered vs Shahab-1's

Range and weight comparisons would be interesting too.

AFAIK Shahab missiles are true ballistic trajectory (with higher impact velocity) and have slightly larger warheads

The main difference will be in the precision, most of those Shahab missiles probably missed their targets by 1-2km, whereas these Kheybar Shekan missiles hit their targets within 10-30m

the problem with shahab-1 is its a copy of a copy of Egyptian R-17e aka Scud-b very inaccurate
r-17 cep is 900m just think what will be the cep of its export version then think how the cep would be if it get copied by north Korea illegally and then think what the cep would be if north Korea give Iran a production line for it

It was enough to maul MEK hideouts
On April 18, 2001, Iran fired approximately 30 Shahab-1’s at MKO camps within a three hour and fifteen-minute period. The six targeted camps included Anzali, Alavi, Ashraf, Faiz, Homayun, and Habib
Iran launched between forty-one and ninety-one Shahab-1's at various Mujahedin–e Khalq (MEK) camps in Iraq

sadly not iran targetted the base in morning when all of them were gathered and its the casualties

so as you see those missiles were inadequate

Anything about what was exactly used to unfortunately strike Pakistan?
