Not just that, there has to be glass ceiling for anyone inspiring to go above Lieutenant colonel rank, which restrict the career progression for only those who got all personal liabilities within the borders of Pakistan, finances, family, offspring. Infact, I will go as far as getting rid of any serving high ranking official who doesn't meet this criteria now. These people are liabilities to the state which state cannot afford. As they say in UK.. GET RID..

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh during an official visit to Saudi Arabia, according to Pakistan’s military media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Upon his arrival at the Royal Palace, the crown prince welcomed the Army Chief warmly. Discussions focused on shared interests, particularly in areas of regional peace, defence cooperation, and enhancing bilateral relations.

General Munir expressed appreciation for the crown prince’s contributions to regional stability and thanked him for Saudi Arabia's consistent support for Pakistan. Additionally, the army chief held talks with Saudi Defence Minister Prince Khalid Bin Salman. Both leaders committed to strengthening defence and security cooperation.

The visit also included meetings with Assistant Minister of Defence Engineer Talal Abdullah Al-Otaibi, Chief of General Staff of Royal Saudi Armed Forces Air Chief Marshal Fayyadh Bin Hamed Al Ruwaili, and Chief of Royal Saudi Land Forces Lieutenant General Fahad bin Saud Al-Johani, underscoring the depth of military ties between the two nations.

The army chief’s visit follows Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s recent trip to Saudi Arabia, where bilateral collaboration expanded to $2.8 billion. Last month, a Saudi investment delegation in Pakistan signed 27 agreements worth $2.2 billion, reflecting the growing economic and strategic partnership between the countries.

For meeting Putin, IK was pulled from office on the orders of Biden. Putin said he would do Everything for IK. Now is the time for PTI to look to see that promise come to some use.

PTI leadership is dumb tbh. They never followed up with Putin. But as things stands now, both Trump and Putin are known to get along well. which means, you got Trump-Putin-IK triangle , huge personalities with aura, where there is mutual respect among the three. Asim and his two cent generals can go and screw themselves, this is the time that Pakistan NEED IK back in power so we can leverage maximum benefits for Pakistan at the highest levels of geopolitics. Citizens of Pakistan needs to understand this, this is the golden opportunity to make up for the lost time and economic progress due to these rats in GHQ. Get rid of them, people need to come out and grab these mofos by their balls and send them packing once a for all.

Also look at Asim Munirs body language and posture, neck and head pushed forward, kind of a hunch look, hands in lap, back against a cushion not fully rested on sofa.

This points to nervousness and feeling tense, not confident in ones own self. He gives the aura of someone who is submissive in this situation and looking upto someone he highly respects like a teacher.

It’s not that simple. PTI needs a Real plan. One that realigns Pakistan on business fundamentals and geopolitical fundamentals, such that a long lasting new Pakistani establishment can be formed. One that can change the dynamic. PTI as a right of center party can align itself with the republicans, displacing the traditional spot of the Pakistani military, while PPP (and the Pakistani Champagne “socialists”) are aligned with the American Democratic Party.

The Pak military’s pitch to the US will be the same old “Afghan Safari”; pay us and we let you fly over our country to go kill some Afghans.

PTI’s IK and Trump are both unique figures. Both have great relations with the Afghan Talib. Now is the time to make the business plan for American mining in Afghanistan in exchange for US recognition of the Talibs. Akin to Roosevelt and the Saudi relationship with oil. Pakistan also has mines to explore and oil fields to develop. In the mean time Pakistan needs investment to make our industries and agriculture competitive, markets for our products, education for our best and brightest, ways to fund social development in Pakistan, and jobs for our population, even if it’s in assembly plants for products to the US market.

PTI needs a business plan to actually use the leverage IK built up. Otherwise it will go to waste.

With the US on board. Pakistan can then go on to adjust its relationship with the GCC, being competitive at seeking their contracts for big projects, not just working the small jobs. Finally with economics corrected, we can work on joint ventures with China to transfer tech on the high volume background tech and move up the efficient of our industries, such as agriculture.
