PA MLRS, Self Propelled and towed artillery [BM-11, Fatah-I GMLRS, Fatah-II] - News, Updates & Discussions

Winston Churchill said in a radio speech in October 1939 while analyzing the early events of World War II:
  • "I cannot forecast to you the action of Russia. It is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma".
Shall we take the “I cannot forecast” portion as an important operative part Churchill’s quote?

There are only two possibilities in my opinion. The United Kingdom.
That response would be weird if it was in another thread. But here it only seems logical. :ROFLMAO:

Can you speculate who it might be?
I don’t need to, it is already known, but you won’t hear it from me. And no, it’s not Ukraine or the United Kingdom.

I'm sorry, but I have no clue

not even United Kingdom. Buddy I give up.

I would rather resort to waiting 4-5 years till then it will be out in the open (maybe).

It's amazing that so much time and attention is being dedicated to one little incident of a set of guns being towed along a highway.

Lage raho, saathiyon.
@Joe Shearer, people are trying to connect dots on an artillery program that has been going on for a few years now.

And as usual, as almost every military program in Pakistan, details on it are being hidden like a nuclear bomb.

Got it, thanks.

We have a different problem. Given clear direction and leadership, building 70 or 80 battle groups with a complement of an artillery regiment (36 guns) each, that is, about 3,000 guns, is quite possible, given production capacity at each of the identified facilities, public sector, private sector and combined sector, with public and private sectors partnering together. This is for SP artillery, to move along as integral part of a battle group, with mobile infantry, air cavalry and armoured cavalry components, besides scouting and reconnaissance adjuncts.

The problem is on the other side, to the north, where the landscape varies between high altitude plains with a very difficult surface in the west, and the rim of the Tibetan plateau in the east. Solving that operational riddle is essential, and it is to be hoped that the Army will come up with useful solutions.

Quite apart from these two fronts, there are jungle environments, and swampy, water-logged environments, and there may not be much planned for these.

You are relatively lucky.

Well then, having a bigger country (in all aspects, positive and negative) does come with its due share of problems as well.

Not much, actually now its a combination of US, Turkish, Chinese and Pak made ...all in 35 mm and 40 mm.
Are the FOOs with the inf/armr bns attached from arty regts? Amd how do they accompany the armr formations
