Rashida Tlaib (MI), Ilan Omar (Minnesota), and Andre Carson (Indiana), all three Democratic Muslims, won reelections. Yassamin Ansari, a newly elected Muslim Democrat of Iranian descent from Arizona, will now join them.

That is what I am talking about. The best course for American Muslims to increase their political power is to actively participate in politics and become elected members. This is how they can make a significant contribution to policymaking processes that are consistent with their interests.

This is the ONLY way to increase influence in decision making. Protests don't do crap.

Illogical, short sighted, and single policy voters that flocked towards Jill or worse Trump have already damaged Palestinian cause beyond repair.

I'd like to see them try their protest after jan 20th. They should already be worried about the past ones with visible faces/ identifications. Just like how Jan 6th culprit were identified and prosecuted.

Blacks, Latinos women have already denounced any further support for their cause. Watch how even more arrogance will blind them from constructively challenging the pro-israel policy.

But atleast they swung an axe quite well to their feet, right 1st class citizen, @Developereo ?

Do you have any objective data to show that these groups in the US have 'denounced' Palestine, and to what extent?

Sporadic and politically opportunistic statements by random individuals here and other don't represent the entire demographic.

I have not been following the issue so not up to date on it.

Unfortunately there isn't going to be a study on such until a protest turn out is observed and compared before and after Trump's rein of restrictions.

However, you can feel the pulse, anger, and disgust of people on social media apps such as Tiktok.

I think the issue is rather simple, a contest of minority unity to overcome a system of oppression vs internal division, to put it nicely.

Suffice to say, Palestinian struggle is royally fucked, so thank you all involved.
