Shariah law would be stupid idea, because American society is not build for that and one can not force a nation into a system which they will never accept, forget about Shariah you can't even stop American girls from wearing bikinis at beaches.

Neither you nor I are legal experts to issue sweeping judgments like that. Sharia is a huge body of laws that has developed over centuries. There are probably multiple versions of it depending on location and it has evolved over time.

To say that it’s all rubbish and not applicable is kind of presumptuous on someone’s part. It’s like saying that Western law is rubbish. What does that mean?

That's your comprehension issue, I did not condemn Shariah law I said that Shariah law would be a stupid idea for American society, and I also give an example for it. You reading disability is not my problem, next time read the full post before commenting or coming to a judgement.

Prophet Muhammad PBUH name was added as law giver, but a huge part of Shariah law was developed later after his death over the tenure of Abu Bakr/Umar Khattab/Uthman and Ali RA to all. Maybe you don't know but Rasool Allah passed away very soon after his message was delivered and a community was established, later on Muslims face countless issues where Quran/Sunnah did not have a direct answer hence other methodologies were implement such as Ijma and Qiyas.

Muhammad SAW was a Prophet/Law giver and by far the greatest man to ever walk the earth, but that does not mean that Shariah law which to this day even Muslim don't know can be applied to any society, such feeling that Shariah law should be implemented to the rest of the world is only a feel good statements. Allah has created us in different race/community/religions/tribes so we can recognize each other and respect, yes Islam is the truth but also " There is no compulsion in religion ". If Allah wanted and will the whole world would've been Muslim and following his law, but its his will nor his nature to do or push such things, that is why the life is a test for us as individuals and as collective society, if Allah wills it than America and rest of the world will accept Islam, but today and in near future even having thought that a law that even we have no full idea about should be implemented on a society where as I mentioned " You can't even stop women from wearing a Bikini at beaches or pools ", and anyone asking for a Shariah law for America is either delusional or just plain stupid.

Isn't that picture technically blasphemy?

Muslims have protested about it, but nothing has been done. What constitutes blasphemy is not clear. It's just a tradition not to make pictures or statues of Prophet Muhammad to prevent people from starting to worship him, like what happened with Jesus.

Today, religious scholars splatter large size pictures of themselves on city walls, like politicians. So, strictures against pictures seem to have lapsed.

The one good thing about a Trump win is that it will escelerate the world's move away from the US as it's central financial and military authority.

Trump is going to do to the US what the Soviets and the Chinese failed to do, turn it into an isolationist nation.

GG to Russian intelligence, they managed to get the guy they wanted into power, and he's going to give them what they want, a US that's no longer involved with world affairs in any serious manner.

A few things.

Trump's peace plan will collapse as soon as it's brought to the table. Ukraine will keep fighting, and the Europeans will likely step up their efforts to support Ukraine.

In Palestine, Israel will likely expand its operations and see Trump's win as a green light to increase its genocide both in scale and intensity.

In Sudan, the RSF will likely gain ground, as the US steps away from its role of backing the government.

In Yemen, the Houthis will increase their attacks as Trump will be reluctant to retaliate to attacks on ships that aren't US or US-adjacent.

Pakistan, IK will likely be let go, as Trumo had a closer working relation with him than the Sharifs, Zardaris, or the Bhuttos.

India, Modi will likely increase its purchase of hardware from the US, as Trump will look to sign deals that increase trade (despite national security concerns), f-35 on the table.

Iran, not sure here. Potential to increase hostility, and Trump is a warhawk when it comes to Iran. Could also be potentially political suicide for him, so he may look to decrease tensions. Nuclear sanctions will likely increase though.

Mexico and South America, will see massive immigration restrictions, as well as deportation.

Canada will likely move carefully, and restrict borders with the US. Risk of society becoming increasingly polarized as a direct result of US elections.

Russia may not get the sanction relief it wants. Trump may be their gut, but there are limits to what Trump can do.
