Economically they are doing better than Europe and will defeat Ukraine in the next 1-2 years even if the west continues with current support.

UK is practically bankrupt and Germany is in extremely hard economic times and is withdrawing the majority of the funding as they cannot afford it.

China, along with the "Global South" is rising and Russians probably now want to keep their distance from the declining west. All the goods and services they need is available from the Chinese who are rapidly catching up in all areas like aerospace and IT.

In essence, since they survived the last near 3 years of western economic and military pressure, they have no need to make any "deal" with the west as they will win anyway.

Russia may be a "White-led country", but don't forget that significant numbers of Caucasian-Muslims and Central Asians live in the entire land of Russia too...

Therefore, Russia is diverse in its own rights, except that its diversity is mostly diversity in religions and races(from whites to Asians to many races that have both DNA mixed in Central and Notrtheast-Asia), but not so much diversity in skin tones mostly because Russia didn't colonized Africa or India with hotter climate and darker skin tones in the past from the southern latitudes where hot climate produces more melanin...
