Military retired officers getting civilians jobs

people are surprised?

been happening since PTI era, and even before.

Jobs in Pakistan are for retd officers that is why civilians must go abroad so they can send remittances home. Brilliant long term plan.

has an idiot ex-mil person as the head of our department once. he destroyed it completely. uprooted our production facilities, sold off our buildings, cancelled orders that we had worked hard to get. dont know what agenda he was working on.

He didn't know what he was doing. There isn't much a veteran's skill set is suited for out in the civilian world. Most of it is, in fact, at odds with civilian activities. I've see veterans given various positions in universities which they then try to run as cadet colleges, having no clue what an educational institute is.

This is very well known game plan. Let Pakistani leave the country and enjoy the foreign remittances. Military elite class destroyed the country.
Aqal e quul ... FA pass jahil.

Which is the top ranking University in Pakistan and who runs it ? Isn't it NUST ?

For these specific jobs I would prefer retired army. Especially the third one.

its all going downhill. profs have been leaving for middle east or other organizations. it appears to be good because its a huge money sucking machine. it has access to resources that other govt unis do not have. private unis do not even come close.
