Russia *OPEN TO PEACE* deal with Ukraine with Trump in office

you underestimate russia, reason why they deploy such troops on front is because they can and true motive is like it was american vietnam war and all others after that where the front meat was mainly consisted from minorites in order to preserve white population and social cohesion.
Actually, it's the opposite. I overestimate them constantly.

Wverytime I think they've gotten their shit together, they end up disappointing.

Russia is running out of soldiers, no one can dispute that.

I disagree, Ukraine is far from collapsing and evidence suggests that they're quite suited to fighting for at least 3 years.

German aid has always been overrated, but there is no indication that Germany is decreasing support on the ground.

As for NK, I believe a soldier has already been captured by Ukrainians, with indications that DPRK forces are gathering with RF soldiers for a new offensive against Ukraine. How successful it will be, we'll have to see, but considering the past, Russian offensives constantly end up stalling.

Who knows? We're just speculating at this point.

Yes we are giving our own opinions but both Germany and UK have cut funding by 50%.

Germany even said it was due to lack of money and they would like to give more.

The lost funding is supposed to be made up in loans but that is another anchor over Ukraine when the war finally ends.

How much aid the president gives Ukraine is up to the president. He does not have to give the maximum amount if he does not want to. In fact, he can give no aid at all.

Tramp ain't going to give a single cent to Ukraine.
If this is how the bill was written to allow the president to authorize the funds. Otherwise, If the congress appropriated a fund for a country that was signed into law, than the president cannot withhold.

The US constitution granted the power of the purse to the congress, not the president.

Russia has already strategically lost this war. Whether they capture the Donbass or not is ultimately irrelevant, and even that is a huge question mark. They’ve been stuck outside Pokrovsk for 3 months, Chasiv Yar 6 months.

600,000+ dead and wounded, over 19,000 military equipment lost, 21% interest rates. Russia clearly can’t keep this up beyond another 1-2 years.

I never could have imagined the attrition they’ve suffered back in February 2022. If the US military invaded Mexico and suffered the level of attrition Russia has, we’d be dragged through the mud and deservingly so.

The Russians have gotten their sh*t kicked in.

Russians won't agree to anything I think. They are winning on the battlefield, the longer the fight goes the stronger the bargaining position, they also know if the war stops it gives ukraine the chance to rebuild and possibly join NATO.

They are not going to do the Minsk game again I think.

The value depends on the president. Joe Biden can simply cut off his finger and say I gave 60 billion dollars to Ukraine because that's how much his finger is worth.

They hold near 20% of Ukraine so they are in a position of Strength. Europe is under financial pressure, most people want some kind of peace deal and this war to end. Add to the mix firebrand trump who doesnt want to spend a penny more and prefers europe to foot tje bill.

The US has about 2,000 active M1A2. Not a single M1A2 was given to Ukraine. Only 31 decommissioned M1A1 were given to Ukraine. If they had more M1A1 more spare, they would have given them. Clearly, there's no more for spare.

LOL.....Sierra Army Depot ALONE have 3500 M1 Abrams in Various state of modification stored. That's just 1 depot......You also have Anniston Army Depot (1000+) and various National Guard Armory in 50 different states.

US received 8100 Abrams since 1985, unless we lost 6000 Abrams in war that we fought since 1985, we have way more than 2000 Abrams

Dude, don't make me laugh

30 months of forced mobilisation in Ukraine versus two months of mobilisation in Russia- a fact that speaks about losses more than any expert.

Russia occupies 20% of Ukraine and gaining.

That Ukrainian offensive into Russia captured a little territory and nothing significant and it stalled within the first few weeks.

Ukrainian towns and cities near the front are devastated while Russia's are all intact and not touched.

Russia economy is growing at 3-4% a year and living standards(PPP) are now almost the same as Spain.

Ukraine is now going to have to get into even more debt if they want to keep up the same level of funding from the west.

So Ukraine can outlast Russia here?

Ukraine is never pushing out a tens of thousands Russian troops out. Russia was * formally * open to peace deals since the beginning of the war; it's one of their checkmarks to show that they are in favor of democratic processes etc. The real question is what exactly the deal would include.

1. Russia annexation of Crimea and Donbas.

2. Ukraine can never join Nato.

Ukraine would be free to trade with west and even buy western weapons but No. 2 with Nato was a red line.

It was actually a very good deal for Ukraine as it would have meant that they would have made them more homogenous with nearly all loyal to Russia no longer being part of their country.

When is the last time Russian or Soviet forces conducted joint military exercises with their North Korean counterparts ?
Irrelevant.
Russian and NK made a defence pact recently.

Do you pull facts out of your rear ? Or do you any research ?
There are reasons to end the Russia-Ukraine war. Financial is not one of them

USA has provided Ukraine with $64.1 billion over 2.5 years
Do you know what the total US federal budget is over that time interval ?

A lot of $64.1 billion is to pay for Javelins, Stingers and Patriot missiles. In other words they go into the pockets of US defense companies.

Could you post corresponding numbers for Russia ?
Hope u ain't drunk. I said current economic situations, not american economy.
Trump always had this policy of asking European nations to spend more towards NATO. And over that now this war.
Only (future) US commitment will help Ukraine sustain this war. Already some EU nations started raising theor voice against this war.

Money, Intelligence, and weapons. No NATO nation is going to give foot soldiers.
Don't know How's Ukraine planning to continue the offensive.

German weapon systems have superior Quality, but they seriously lack quantity to support.

The war has already slowed.
