I have been hearing about this magical howitzer since 2021, I don't have any confidence in it simply because khakis aren't interested in domestic production, they are too hooked on foreign ka maal.

I'm noticing a growing portfolio of ALCMs across different size/weight classes:

KaGeM V3 - NASTP - 30 kg
Rasoob - AWC(?) - 285 kg
Taimur/Ra'ad 2 - AWC - 1200 kg

I think we're really close to seeing our own NSM/JSM concept (400 kg) directly based on the Rasoob. In fact, it probably already exists on paper or in the development pipe as it'd be an enlarged version.

NGFAs like J-35A and UCAVs like Kizilelma would carry it inside their weapon bays.

This is a very effective strategy by pakistans military planners these things cane produced in 10s of thousands effectively neutralizing AD and radar sites. I am sure this ones has an air launched variant too.

i think people do not give HIT enough credit. They seriously indigenised alot of AK and also alot of Haider. Do they have the capabilities to design a clean sheet vehicle, yes, but i suspect its more to do with priority and allocation of limited resources.

i dont think they can, these are likely quite expensive if anything, i suspect theyll probably be used for precision strikes against HVT's i.e AD/Command posts etc
