Lol what kind of construction works is needed on all motorways all at once, Pakistan as a country is a laughing stock stupid PDM and duffers don't give a shit.

I don’t know about you guys but it feels to me that revolution is coming ..may not happen on Nov 24 but some big change is coming. Pakistan is ready for it . I can’t say for sure that Pakistan will become better off with this change but is coming. I am surprised that aljazeerah, bbc have not picked this up yet
 
Nov 24 will be the day of funerals of PTI .....all hope is not lost if pinky peerni can do some successful jantar mantar .

ISLAMABAD / LAHORE: As the PTI remained resolute in its plans for a major protest on Nov 24, despite an Islamabad High Court order, the government on Friday vowed to suppress the power show with full force, deploying massive security forces, enforcing a sweeping ban on gatherings, blocking highways and motorways and launching a crackdown on leaders and workers of the opposition party.

The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) announced that six key motorways would be closed for all types of traffic “due to maintenance” from Friday night, advising travellers to avoid unnecessary travel during this period. According to a statement, the decision was taken following information that protesters are planning to create a law and order situation and damage public and private property on Nov 24.

As Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) prepares to flex its muscles on November 24, the government has rolled out extensive security measures, including invoking Section 144 across Punjab for three days and deploying thousands of personnel in the federal capital to maintain law and order.

The Punjab government followed the federal government's lead on Friday by invoking Section 144 from November 23 to 25, banning public gatherings, rallies and processions.

The decision was taken during the 18th meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Law and Order, aimed at safeguarding lives and property amid rising security concerns.

Officials warned that public gatherings could serve as "soft targets for terrorists," with anti-state elements potentially exploiting such events to advance their agendas.

Meanwhile, in preparation for the rally, major reinforcements have been dispatched to Islamabad. Punjab has sent 19,000 personnel, Sindh 5,000 officers, the Frontier Corps 5,000, and Azad Kashmir police 1,000.

For the first time, high-ranking officers accompany the contingents, with district-level commanders overseeing their teams. The Punjab inspector general is also in Islamabad to coordinate efforts.
