You do know there are zero prospect for any undocumented immigrant to become American, right? I mean is there are any pathway for any undoc in China to even become Permanant Resident? You aren't talking about proper immigration, these people is on the fringe basically forever until they died, or found and deported.

Plus, how long is "soon" when you are talking about a mil undoc a year in a 330 mil population? Beside, this number is nothing if you compared to the actual immigration number

DHS deports Chinese migrants on charter flight

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) deported a group of Chinese migrants earlier this week on a charter flight to China, according to officials.

Tuesday’s flight marked the second removal of Chinese nationals from the U.S. this year. The first flight, the largest since 2018, occurred in June with the cooperation of China’s National Immigration Administration.

“Intending migrants should not believe the lies of smugglers – Chinese nationals without a legal basis to remain in the United States are subject to swift removal,” DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said in a statement released Thursday. “The Department of Homeland Security will continue to strengthen consequences for individuals unlawfully entering our country and enforce our nation’s laws.”

In 2022, approximately 90,000 Chinese nationals entered the U.S., making it the third-largest source of immigrants after Mexico and India, according to the Pew Research Center.

China suspended cooperation with U.S. removal efforts in August 2022 by refusing to accept returning citizens. As a result, the country saw a drastic surge in the number of immigrants entering the country illegally from Mexico, The Associated Press reported.

The following year, U.S. border officials arrested more than 37,000 Chinese nationals at the southern border, 10 times the number during the previous year. However, China resumed cooperation with U.S. deportation efforts this year, according to the AP.

“In recent years, Chinese law enforcement departments have cracked down hard on crimes that harm the tranquility of national border, and maintained a high pressure against all kinds of smuggling organizations and offenders,” the U.S. Embassy in China wrote in a statement in May.

“Our work has produced good results. At the same time, Chinese law enforcement agencies have regular cooperation with relevant countries to jointly tackle cross-border smuggling activities, repatriate illegal immigrants and maintain the order of international flow of people,” the embassy added.

President Biden issued a proclamation in June temporarily suspending the entry of certain noncitizens across the southern border. Since then, Border Patrol officials say encounters have decreased by more than 55 percent.

I think they want to run away from debt, police, or life adventure from the lowest class.

They have lots of severely disenfranchised people. You don't see Americans fleeing the country by the 10's of thousands and jumping the borders of Europe/Africa/Asia in desperation.

That being the case, under United States law, the United States Government is obliged to accept these people's applications for political asylum, instead of praying for the Chinese Government to take them back to China.

Now the U.S. government is not only not accepting their applications for asylum, but also sending them to prison. This is a violation of human rights and freedom. The brutal behaviour of the United States Government towards these political refugees, as you call them, should be condemned.

For the Chinese Government. Since you consider them political refugees, the Chinese government respects their human rights and freedoms, their political choices, and agrees and is willing to help them leave China for the countries they want to join. Isn't that a respect for human rights and freedoms?

Nice try...however US law is more restrictive than Europe when it comes to asylum seeking. So theoretically it should be easier for Americans to seek asylum in Europe than it is for the Chinese to seek asylum here.
🤔

However you don't see a flood of Americans seeking asylum in Europe. Please try to explain that...

DHS Conducts Removal Flight to the People’s Republic of China

On November 16, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), through U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), conducted a third large-frame charter removal flight in less than six months to the People’s Republic of China (PRC) of Chinese nationals with no lawful basis to remain in the United States.

I don't know about the problems in the US and Europe.

I'm just reminding you that since you think they are political refugees, you should accept political asylum instead of asking the Chinese government every day to take these people back to their country.

If they are political refugees, then your refusal of political asylum is against human rights and freedoms, while the Chinese government's behaviour is what is tolerant and moral.

Yes, it appears that far more Chinese are finding life in China intolerable than Americans do. While the Chinese are fleeing the country by the 10's of thousands you don't see very many Americans finding the US so intolerable that they are trying to seek asylum in Europe or Africa.

Even African countries encouraged African Americans to move there...but not many went.
Ghana rolls out the red carpet to encourage resettlement in the motherland
That same year the country enacted the Immigration Act, which provides for a “Right of Abode” for any “Person of African descent in the Diaspora” to travel to and from the country “without hindrance.”

I'm just reminding you that since you think they are political refugees,
No, you are the one saying that.

I'm just saying 10's of thousands of Chinese are finding their country so intolerable that they are fleeing. You don't see such an exodus of Americans to Europe/Africa/Asia.

No, no, no, don't take back your words.

What you said is right. They're the political refugees, not the indebted, drug addicts, criminals, gamblers and the like.

They are refugees persecuted by the Chinese political system and you should accept their applications for political asylum.
