Turkey Syria - News & Updates

The Russian bombing will definately affect many Muslim countries minds with Sunni majority population. They need to be careful. Russian is already cornered, cannot act like the usual

Russia has a love/hate relationship with Islam. On the one hand Russian history is full of committing genocide against Muslims, like the Circassian genocide. On the other hand, there are millions of Muslims living peacefully in the country. Some are in high positions, like Russia's central bank governor Elvira Nabiullina. There are many Muslims, like the Chechens, fighting for Russia in Ukraine.

If Muslim countries were not puppets of America then Russia would have been a good partner. For now, the US has imposed restrictions on puppet regimes, like Pakistan, from having good relations with Russia.

The HTS & alliance should not put too many men into the fight with SDF, it will be an bogged down operation with the Syrian Regime likely reinforcing & launching counter actions.

The greater manpower should first be put into the territorial push on the key areas.

Not really. SDF is a mere nothing without US support. They're collapsing.

Neither Assad nor HTS should be in power. Assad is a brutal dictator, and with HTS in power, Syria would become a new breeding ground for terrorists and mercenaries. We saw this with the East Turkestans/Uyghurs, who are fighting Assad rather than for their own territory.

Wishful expression of your storyline...

For the rest of the world is clear, Bibi announced that Assad is playing with fire, and next event is immediately going on right now...

Who is the most interested in this project in this moment and why Bibi???Who is the silent assistant to this doings and why Erdogan???

History has no mercy...

If Russia is clever, better staying out of this inter Muslim conflict. Any way, 90 % Muslim is Sunni. Not clever move to do this thing

Look on China, that is the way big power should act.

It seems that there is some backdoor communication, sdf fled some points occupied earlier.
What is really incredible rebel are now at the doors of Hama town again after several years.
It will be interesting to read post festum analysys of full assad collapse with irreversible losses of territories and future implication for his own regime survival and regional dynamics.

Civilians. These kind of attacks have zero effect on the war front but it's revealing that you're celebrating this atrocity.

Whose celebrating?

I am just saying that Russians won't care if they kill 100 civilian as long as they get at the rebels.

I already condemned all attacks on civilians.

That will depend on their own population mindset. If it will be another authoritarian regime, then Syrian people is to be blamed.

I dont know with this people, maybe the DNA of Muawiyah is still there if they dont learn from the history again and again.

PKK members are already crying and accusing the US

The region is on the verge of a large-scale war on several fronts between the National Army and possible Turkish intervention and the SDF forces.
The regime has officially withdrawn from the region and America is out of the equation, meaning the Afrin scenario will be repeated, while the SDF forces are trying to connect the region and secure the Kurdish towns east of Aleppo.

Just like the Assad regime, the SDF is nothing without support and assistance from foreign governments.

All the Sunnis are in the Anglo-Zionist camp. That leaves only Shias for Russia to be friends with.

I think its time for Turkey to intervene officially. Start bombing the PKK and open up other fronts.

It seems Russia/Assad have made a deal with the PKK to try to hold off the rebel advance just enough so they have time to send reinforcements.
