Were there any conditions attached first like Assad must step down?
Just like the Assad regime, the SDF is nothing without support and assistance from foreign governments.
Ok, my bad for russians first, that is even worse, iran had no bussiness in syria on behalf of upholding assad regime, for me it is strategic mistake.False- Russians came after SOleimani asked them to join in, after Iranians were on the ground dying and holding off Sunni extremists like ISIS and HTS.
Nope- Iran was fighting early on in the Syrian civil war before Russia joined in. You have the history reversed.
Which govt has a purpose outside of regime survival when the regime is at risk? you have different standards for Assad and his Syrian govt than other govts in the world?
Dont forget that the Syrian civil war really blew up because after it started, it was just a civil conflict between civilians and the govt......until Turkey, US and NATO started pumping the Syrian rebels with weapons and ammunition and intelligence and training, which made the Syrian army have to basically enter serious war mode to save the regime and country- many people forget that the civilian uprising got weaponized by US and its allies, just like they weaponized the opposition in Ukraine and Georgia and other countries.
LMAO- what a joke. The Russian bombing will definately affect many Muslim countries minds with Sunni majority population. They need to be careful. Russian is already cornered, cannot act like the usual
Iran wasnt in Syria mainly or only to prop up Assad- Iran was in Syria to keep Syria favorable for its interests in the region, specifically enabling it to send weapons to Hezbollah and allowing its forces to be present close to Israel. There is no friendship in govts, just interests.Ok, my bad for russians first, that is even worse, iran had no bussiness in syria on behalf of upholding assad regime, for me it is strategic mistake.
Well, propinng your interests against wishes of local population enlarge is not viable long term strategy unless you have unlimited resources and power tools.Iran wasnt in Syria mainly or only to prop up Assad- Iran was in Syria to keep Syria favorable for its interests in the region, specifically enabling it to send weapons to Hezbollah and allowing its forces to be present close to Israel. Once a terrorist......always a terrorist. THey even did beheadings and summary executions...while copying HEzbollah by saying "we will treat churches well..."blah blah...Some war crime comited by HTS killing surrendered enemy soldiers, big stain and shame to act like that even when they were given clear orders to treat surrendered enemy in non harming way.
Really shameful indeed and if the HTS has ambitions to rule for longer time these documented and other crimes have to be punished.Once a terrorist......always a terrorist. THey even did beheadings and summary executions...while copying HEzbollah by saying "we will treat churches well..."blah blah...
I agree with you- and especially after Israel was forced to sign a humiliating ceasefire against a still-standing Hezbollah, it makes sense that Israel will begin its "plan B operation to cut Hezbollah to size". The timing strongly suggests Israel's involvement here.Timing is everything in life...timing is determined by Bibi, announcing that this will happen....He said fire, and fire is happened...
Very little about Muslim cause, only Israel has benefits of actual situation...
No one is blind, it's OK to defend turkish interests in coalition with zionists....but no one is blind...
