Sectarian hatemongers among Sunnis were jealous about Iran, Hezbollah, Houthis.. all Shia groups taking a lead in fight for Palestine. Assad is a war criminal but Israel’s biggest issue with him is he allows transit of weapons to Hezb. Because of this jealousy being capitalized upon by Israel & USA we are in this situation today where Muslims are at each other’s throats while Israel completes its land grab in Gaza & reignites the war in South Leb to steal land even there. The Turkish backed Rebels have no guts to fight hezbollah so they thank Israel for doing it's dirty work.
