There is the major difference, some user just rejoiced of this thinking it was a retaliation

I ask anyone to show me when someone from this section rejoiced over the 2 kids death

I will not talk about those who rejoiced from 94 deaths by saying "Iran is getting what they wanted" or whatever

There is the main difference, Israel does rejoice over kids dying, same for the US. We do not rejoice over innocents death, but on the other part, they do it on a daily basis, i guarantee that if there was an ISIS attack right now that would have killed 1000 children, they would rejoice over it

So i don't know if that is because of emotions, but this Saudi user just rejoiced over the death of an officer

If they had the choice to attack Tel Aviv or Tehran for free, they would 100% chose Tehran, wahhabi confirmed.

Speaking with CNN's Fareed Zakaria at the World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting 2024 in Switzerland’s Davos on Wednesday, the Iranian foreign minister expounded on the missile and drone strikes that Iran launched against two key strongholds of the Jaish al-Adl (known in Iran as Jaish al-Dhulm) terrorist group inside Pakistan on Tuesday.
He underlined that no Pakistani citizen has been targeted in the raid against the terrorists.
The attack was aimed at the Jaish al-Adl terrorist group, an Iranian group that has taken shelter in Pakistan, he added.
Amirabdollahian described the strike as a retaliatory response to the operation that Jaish al-Adl terrorists carried out against a Police headquarters in Iran’s Rask that killed 11 Iranian forces on December 15, 2023.
The foreign minister reaffirmed Iran’s respect for the sovereignty of Pakistan, but made it clear that the Islamic Republic won’t allow anyone to play with its security.

Oh come on.... stop giving excuses .... you can't justify the act & will get stick on the bum for sure....
 
(not posting in other thread due to understandably high emotions)

Thinking about the recent strikes carried out by the IRI; if I were an opponent, what would I see here? What would I see NEW here in particular? Range? Intelligence? Precision? Missile type? Yawn.

To me the most important item here is concurrent operations across mutually exclusive theaters. THAT is the most impactful and most impressive.

I do not need your comments, you just rejoiced over deaths in Iran and come to me as if this article was a personal justification/excuse, spread your ideology and ideas somewhere else, no one needs it here.

I can’t see any scenario where Pakistan lets this precedence be set. Only way this even goes unanswered is if lots of commitments are given behind closed doors and a third party (like China) acts as some sort of guarantor. And if in that scenario this happens again, it’ll be answered for sure and probably in more a conclusive way - this isn’t chest thumping, it’s just a matter of fact that every state has its limit. We saw this dynamic with India back in 2016 when they first attempted a farcical incursion, and then second time they did it in 2019, the retaliatory air ops were conclusive, and within 36 hours of initiation of hostilities both nuclear armed neighbours had deployed SSMs against each other.

And not to go back into ancient history, there was also a time where the PAF would shoot down Soviet aircraft over its airspace while the state engaged in a proxy war with that superpower at its doorstep. Pakistan is a lot of things, and can be pathetic at times, but it definitely has red lines, just like your state does.

Anyway, I wouldn’t have thought this situation possible with Iran even two days ago.

Even if we forget Pakistan’s sense of pride and sovereignty for a second, most of us are just puzzled and stupefied at Iran’s decision making, it really makes no sense.

I wouldn't say nothing would happen, but nothing that will create an Pakistan-India situation of permanent state of hostilities since that is not good for either country. That would mean hostilities on 3 fronts for Pakistan.

So It's hard to say if they will do something limited as there is strong incentive in Pakistan to restore confidence in the population.

What doesn't make sense?

There is a terrorism problem in Pakistan, their are vast areas that are not even in control of the government. These groups cross over the border and attack Police officers and other assets. This isn't really that puzzling, they killed 11 police officers just a few weeks ago.

Okay lol.

Country with food insecurity, dependent on foreign aid, and saddled with massive IMF debt obligations is threatening war with another country that it can't afford to pay for.

"it's the people who eventually suffer the most" is the most ironic statement considering the above.

Iran has tolerated alot of terroism from Pakistan, and multiple other issues, like failure to complete the Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline that Iran put a ton of money upfront to complete. For about 13 years Iran waiting for Pakistan to do it's end of the bargain and 18 billion dollars on May 2024 will be due for failing to fulfill it's contractual obligations
