Unless the Syria Army can demonstrate soon that it can halt the march of the rag-tag band of Isis/Al-qadea terrorists soon - it will be all over for Assad. Hama has falled quickly and things dont look good for Homs at this rate. The optics right now are of continual losses and setbacks, and those optics generate their own events interms of soldiers being prepared to actually stand and fight.

Assad is going to put up a defence when the Alawite heartland is at risk.

Not sure why they were caught napping initially at this rebel attack.

During the year war in Gaza , there was radio silence from Assad , even as Israel was striking inside Syria, Assad was pretending like it doesn’t concern him…you people admire this man and his repulsive regime!

Israel has been bombing Syria for years. Syria has no capability to answer. At least he didn't backstab those in Gaza, unlike Turkey, which has pretty much backstab-ed everybody except Israel.

Overall, I am deeply disappointed in the whole Muslim world. It is like the late Qing Dynasty of China. Some of them may be rich but they are just livestock ready to be slaughtered. I see little backbone of resistance.

In Libya, Egypt gave a warning to Turkey they will send army to finish off Turk sponsored rebels if they cross certain areas and the fighting became a stalemate. Since Saudi Arabia is funding HTS, this is why Egypt is quiet but they will not accept a MB lead government in Syria.
