Akhi you are sunni. Why do you cling to Assad who has never fired a single bullet at the Golan Heights since his father took over. Israel took over Golan Heights in 1967, Hafez Assad as defense minister defied the last Syrian president, pulled Syrian troops away from Jordan that were deployed to help the PLO overthrow the collaborator monarchy, then overthrew the last president, and allowed Israel to formally annex the Golan Heights in 1981 without doing anything.

Yet somehow he is seen as some anti zionist savior that cannot be dispensed of. lol

You made the mistake of basing your entire outlook towards the middle east around Iran's stubbornness around Assad. What Iran should have done is negotiate a post Assad Syria that preserved their interests, instead they threw all their weight behind assad, and it backfired.

There is no long term solution with Assad, that should have been made apparent, you will not murder your way out of the core issues, and make people cower and accept your rule over them. These are zionist tactics. Don't claim to be anti zionist while carrying out zinist tactics.

I agree with you, a political solution should have been made a long time ago. I do hope that Lebanon supply line does not stop because I hope we can agree that Hezbollah and Iran have been at the forefront for the resistance against Israel. Hezbollah being cut off is only a win for Israel.

I do not cling to Assad brother, I many times called him a criminal who is not fit to lead. I only see the need for resistance groups like Hamas and Hezbollah to be armed to defend against Israeli expansion.

You can be pro resistance and anti Assad. He handled this conflict horribly but he was not the only person who had a hand in the destruction of Syria.

This is Iran fault for not negotiating with HTS directly, nor putting pressure on Assad to accomodate the refugees going back home(I would hope you as a Palestinian can appreciate the right of return for refugees, Assad refused to let people go back home b.c he ironically has been one of the biggest sectarians like his father) rather letting assad do what he wants.
