Syrian Civil War and The future of Syria after liberation

Was seeing a video of a huge rebel column in some desert in Syria. Why is it so hard for Syria to detect and bomb it? They still have a capable airforce vs rebels.

Anyway i expect Assads army to stabilize soon and halt the rebel advance.

To me this looks like HTS have adopted some of the tactics that the Ukrainian army uses against the Russians. The speed of the advance using motorcycles to attack positions and secure territory are all very successful. Encouraging the enemy to surrender with flyers and treating the prisoners well all work in HTS favour because Assad's forces do not seem motivated to die for him.

That is the million dollar question.

In fact long columns have been a feature of this conflict from the outset.

Another question: the Al-Rastan bridge lies between Hama and Homs. It will be a force multiplier for the rebels looking to push their troops from Hama to Homs.

So is that bridge still standing, and if so why is it still standing?

It's smooth take over by rebels , similar to the one in Afghanistan by talibans.......it gives credence to my assertion that Arabs , Americans , israeliese and Turks are in it together ..... Russians and Assad have read writing on the wall .

This seems very reminiscent of Afghanistan I mentioned too, ; a foreign state-backed army essentially running away from mujahideen as soon as foreign support starts to dwindle

This far a remarkable military achievement by HTS and its allies, it has to be agreed

Israel hasn't been weakened "significantly". How do you define significant reduction in military capability? They barely lost 2,000 soldiers in this war.

This is proves why you are an Indian.. Isreal will never release their true casualities and why would they. Only someone who has low IQ will buy into any official released casualities by anyone.

They have lost 50.000 in Gaza alone and nearly half of that in Lebanon not counting the injuries which could be double

From what i follow operating with highly mobilized vehicles had always been default in the Jihadists. However, they have added new stuff.
- Thermal Brigade; all fighters equipped with night vision thermal googles. They go and hunt at night.
- Special Units; compromised of best fighters, they infiltrate and take out Assadist outputs around a city.
- At morning they began targeting the forward defensive positions of assadist army with drones.
- After softening the defenses they hit hard with their full force. Sending assadists fleeing.

Well, there goes Syria's coast along with the Mediterranean, and with it Assad's main connection to Russia...
This city HAMA shouldn't have fallen like this. And this is extremely weird , where are Syrian Airforce bombardments halt the advance , where are the Government forces , and pro-Government militias?
Money, spare parts, corruption, depletion, fuel, assad authorities never adopted to war time conditions in terms of governing efficiently with merit due natural paranoic atmosphere within regimes likes that.

Cry me some more shia heretic. Your time is over. Syrian will people will be freed of your oppression.
Wait a couple of minutes, it's easy to get the minute on the top position, to stay there is different story...this is fast and furious success, how strong fundament is of such improvements, we will see...it could easily be even faster and more furious disaster in the end...

I think something really important has not mentioned about the construction of drones and drone pilot training WITHIN syria is that that isn’t a simple task. these men know how to build electronics(and fly them), that isn’t exactly something you wake up and know how to do well. to me that indicates they are attempting to train individuals for specialised roles, and I would bet money that extends outside of just drones. I wonder if HTS has done what most other Mujahideen groups don’t do all that well and actually attempted to train up their soldiers to a competent level. Simply the fact they have seemingly partially standard equipment and uniforms to me indicates they have made a shift towards attempting to be a professional force of sorts. At the very least having members who are able to do technical tasks!!!

It literally only survived before because of Russian airpower. Now that the bulk of that support is withdrawn, it's fighting like the Afghan National Army did while the US was pulling out, and by that I mean, it's barely fighting at all. Morale has plummeted, they're in disarray, and they're just fleeing from their positions rather than establishing any manner of cohesive defence. These victories are genuinely more of a discrepancy between morale than fighting power. I think ?

I think you are right besides fact that rebels improved significantly that can not be only explanation for such collapse and lack of strong resistance.

It shouldn’t be a question of dying for Assad. It should be dying for your country? Right now ISIS groups will occupy Syria and turn it into another Afghanistan. Surely it is worth fighting to stop that? Why the Syrian Army doesn’t recognise that is part of the problem.

Like look at Libya, what has become of that country since it was also “liberated” from Gadaffi. Slave trade and constant war is what has happened. Libya is fragmented into different warring parties and can never be put together again. That is the future of Syria with what Turkey has unleashed.

All these 3-letter alphabet of Terrorists will start fighting each other once they conquer all that they can. There will be no peace with what has been unleashed. All these Turkish cheerleaders here will have a bigger problem to deal with than they do now. Look how Pakistan “nurtured” the Taliban for only the Taliban to turn on Pakistan. Afghanistan still remains a shit hole, and it is getting worse there too with all education of women now banned. These terrorist groups cannot be controlled ever…..

I told you the biggest weapon against the Jews is not Hamas or Hezbollah it's the Palestinian population with a average age of 19 years old and a birth rate of 3+

A mass of the Palestinian population is heading towards marriage and children, whilst the Jews have passed that age, even if the Jews can maintain a birthrate similar to the Palestinians, they DON'T have the same number of youth as the Palestinians

The Arab world has it's own idea of long term strategic interests and resistance against the Jews and it revolved around a skin deep Abraham accords a using subtlety to help the Palestinians expand their population and make life easier for them

They also wanted to use Israel as a tool against Iran and use the Jew control of the U.S as a tool for Arab states and investment funds to have access to those markets

What they believe is that Iran and Hamas were over eager and their plan was to stop this Arab long term plan, so seeing Hamas and Hezbollah under attack and Iran pushed back is fine with them

They really hate the Jews as much as anyone, so watching Israel come under attack become hated and despised or watch the Jews scramble and plot is no real problem to them

Once trump is back, they will continue to seek a reset
NO Arab state will take any Palestinians
They will.plan how to rebuild Gaza, and support lawfare against Israel
Israel doesn't really know what to do, ot wants to occupy the west bank but without the Palestinians, and if it keeps going down this path even.its allies will find it difficult to justify and at the moment, multiple protest movements and international organisations are going after Israel

The Arabs are actually quietly very happy, apart from the pain of the people In Gaza, they see multiple enemies failing and hurting each other
I understand the demographic situation. This is why Israel is committed to genociding and expelling the Palestinians. They are successfully doing it in Gaza now and they will do it in the West Bank.

Trump is going to let Israel have an even more freer reign. He might even involve some US military in bombing the Palestinians. He has no interest in achieving an equitable position for the Palestinians.

Israel will succeed in its ethnic cleansing because it is supported unconditionally by the West, the Arab states are a bunch of pussies deepthroating Netanyahu's cock and the only real rival, Iran, with balls to stop them is too far away and whose reach will now be cut off as Syria falls, meanwhile they are also being backstabbed by their treacherous piece of shit neighbors (Arabs and Turks).
