Syrian Civil War and The future of Syria after liberation

I don't know lol
Maybe because they will have enough of Turkey and say "ok,Russians are out, Erdogan in not reliable,he'll attack the Kurds, the Kurds on the other hand can be a useful ally against any Turkish, threat against Israel,a nice bulkhead against Iran and Iraq."
Reinforcing them eventually,is strategically and geopolitically very logical. It's the best thing for the Americans to have an ally in that part of the Middle-East,who is friendly towards Israel, dependent on the US and borders Turkey and the Shia crescent.

Ok lol? Do you still find it funny? lol

lmao

You don't trade Bishops and Queens for pawns on the chessboard.

I showed you the demographics of the region the PKK currently controls. If it was in Iraq maybe(but the Iraq play failed on it own, without turkish involvement), but Syria is a different matter. Out of all the States, Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran, Syria has the least amount of kurds and all located in small snippets up at the border. And all bordering Turkey.

lol, the region is overwhelmingly Sunni Arabs and it borders Turkey, its literally the worst geography and demographics profile to use to make a play against Turkey. For very little gain tactically.

The Kurds are mostly interested in holding their parts. And that's enough actually.
Syria will not be divided. Just as Turkey steadfastly defends its own territorial integrity, it will ensure that Syria’s borders are protected and its sovereignty preserved. Period.

By destroying the YPG?

Well, if they took Homs (Which is currently under siege) The Russian may as well go home, there are no way they could have supply Damascus if they don't have access to the coast.

It really depends on whether Assad loses Homs, if they did, Russian position in Syria would be untenable.
Hezbollah has switched sides and now supports HTS. Surprise surprise.

You gotta stop with that lol thing,it's coming out as mocking someone when you constantly use it.

Second, don't be so naive. If the Americans and Israelis want to create a Kurdish protectorate in Syria, who will stop them? Will Erdogan go on with an operation to clean Syria of the YPG,if Trump tells him "our forces have been ordered to hit anyone crossing that zone" etc?

Tell me honestly,do you believe Erdogan would say "we're Turkey we will do what we want" and go on if the Americans AND Israelis tell him "if you continue we will respond"?

TURKEY ALREADY MADE SURE SYRIA WAS DIVIDED! HELLO?
Where were you the last 10 years? Turkey even intervened and made sure that Syria was cut in pieces!

Do you remember the letter that Trump sent before the Tal Abyad operation?

and do you know what Erdogan did with the letter?

And what happened afterwards?

In one week, Turkey wiped out 30-40% of the territory held by the PKK on the Turkish Border. And this was with minimal use of turkish troops, what happens if Turkey was far more forceful and deployed its full capabilities with its actual army and air force, instead of FSA guys and a few drone strikes?

Seriously come to your senses, you are trying to argue either to annoy people or you are genuinely deluded in thinking this going to happen. Especially when you see the statements coming from trump about pulling out of syria as well as statements he released about the US staying out of whatever is happening.

Get real buddy, how do you think any govt that takes over in Damascus will react to someone trying to break apart Syria?

*sigh*

You really are naive,aren't you?

Unless you got it wrong and you're thinking that I meant Trump wants to give the entire Syria to the Kurds or you thought I meant the Americans will create a protectorate right away.

One of my dreams is to see Iran and Turkey become friends and cooperate to unite and lead the Islamic world. That will be the beginning of the revival of Islam, inshallah.
