It's a very difficult almost esoteric sort of technology, that must have low rates of failure and the highest quality at every component.

Still deeply guarded industry secrets, these.. metallurgy etc ka lafda hai.

A friend had the chance to join the military engine wing or whatever in one of the big 3.. cleanest guy ever, but the insane scrutiny drove him away... abhi civvie side Kam karta hai.

Even there there's a lot of this corporate and state espionage that goes on, I'm told.

Next to silicon fabs and nodes etc tech... this is the xhit, this tech.. right up there with nuclear.

Chinese engine's are mocked but the mobilisation of expertise, industry and sustained resources needed.... they are well placed to atleast reduce the gap

I don't even know who might could even possibly next enter this elite club, more elite than nuclear which is not so elite really.... South Korea?
