Syrian Civil War and The future of Syria after liberation

The most important variable is that the Israeli aircraft did not use targeting from afar as usual, but rather it became within the Syrian geography (as a result of the failure of the air defense in Daraa). The second most important variable is that it is not possible to confirm the size of the attacks (due to the loss of communication). Some reports say that the number of targets exceeded 100. Within the last 7 hours.

Israel's control over the buffer zone is temporary until there is a government, an army, and a president with whom Israel will negotiate and reformulate a new agreement, and I believe its points will be different from the past.

Your take on the Arabs perspective is refreshing and needed on this forum. There is a lot of antagonism towards Arabs because this perspective is missing.

It is due to enormous ignorance in terms of Arabs, the Arab world and its long and storied history (just look at my interactions with some of your compatriots in this thread in this regard) and due to Arabs themselves being very bad at explaining things to foreigners. Many of the youth nowadays are also clueless about their history (as most youth today across the world) and simply don't care. I always cared a lot and always understood current events in a historical light. As history likes to repeat itself. I also grew up and changed my views which is natural and something I encourage all people to do as they grow older. At least challenge their own old views.

I would not be surprised if those same people (ignorant by large) would think that KSA is as it was just 10 years ago. The changes in the past 10 years are astonishing, and I have never seen something alike in my life yet. Some changes for the better, some for the worse. But the world changes and we grow older. That is at least certain.

I laugh in particular when they talk about "Arabs" as if we were 1 single country with the same policy. It's like they are stuck in 1000 AD or something.

Are they ready to annex south Syria now?
We always ready for this! ;)

Jokes aside, why don't you believe that we will protect the territorial integrity of Syria? The entire country has already come under the rule of an administration that we support. Why would we damage this good relationship and annex territory?

If the Greek Cypriots were not so stupid and so greedy, we would not even have soldiers Cyprus. Just like Assad, instead of talking to us seriously and sincerely, they tried to do ridiculous things. And they still haven't changed.

Yeah I'm sure they will do anything to ensure their throats are nut cut and their women and children are not sold as sex slaves by the "Civilized" Turkish backed Terrorists!!!

Are you talking about 1974 or...? What?

It was not a civil war. It was turned into a civil war when people doing protests were mowed down.

If everyone played a positive role back then instead of supporting based on sectarianism, it would have been a strong country still.

SAA was not majority Alawi or shia, they had majority sunni Arab nationalists. Foreign nations like Turkey Usa Saudi Arabia qatar started to sponsor jihad in Syria, they pumped billions until Assad government was about to fall, assad then as Syrian President request Russian and Iranian help.

Assad and SAA is now finished. People need to keep eye on Israel overtaking Syrian land.

South Syria by Israel.

They are creating a buffer zone around the already annexed Golan Heights to try to isolate Southern Lebanon (Hezbollah) and prevent that part of Syria to be used for smuggling weapons into South Lebanon. I believe that they want to deal a final blow (at least this is the dream) to Hezbollah once Trump takes office. At least completely isolate them. Whether they will succeed we will see but I have my doubts. Hezbollah or some kind of successor movement will reappear as long as there is injustice in regards to Palestine and as long as Israel has expansionist ambitions in the nearby lands.

All this would could have been avoided if not for the Al-Assad regime's neglect of Syria but I believe that the Israelis will eventually leave (this being temporary) as they don't have the ability or manpower to keep it permanently. However you never know with war criminals like Netanyahu and some of the rapid Zionists in power. They might feel empowered by Trump and try something truly crazy that will blow up the region.

How young are you? The title of that picture is wrong. Taliban came into existence in 1994. After the war with USSR ended. The picture shows President Reagan meeting Afghan freedom fighters (Mujahideen). This is the actual footage:

The meme of Reagan calling the Afghan Mujahideen like the founding fathers of America goes back decades. Maybe he only called them freedom fighters.

When I searched this topic I found that even the prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan thought that this was correct.

I guess now it's turkey's problem. good luck to the Syrian people in this path they have chosen

You are posting an established pro-Assad account that a few days ago insulted the role of Iran in Syria and called it a useless and harmful ally for Syria. Her credibility is extremely low as well, I have seen her post obvious propaganda in many of her Tweets and even had discussion with her on Twitter not long where we came to some kind of agreement astonishingly. Just like that Armenian Syrian Al-Assad fanboy troll based in Germany that a few days ago made some laughable post about Armenains being more native to Syria than Arabs, lol, even though the Arab presence in Syria itself predates the existence of Armenians as a people (!) in written records by at least 700 years!

There is always some kind of chaos when regimes are toppled in the first few days (no need to explain what happened to Iran in 1979 or what happens in Iran during anti- regime protests every 5-10 years), nothing that will last forever. And of course all this is ultimately the fault of the Al-Assad regime.

Also it is interesting that you believe, contrary to ground realities, that somehow Syria is now some imaginary Turkish colony with only Turks having a say in a future Syria and not Syrians themselves or 20 + Arab states or Arab neighbors, USA or other global or regional powers.
