Syrian Civil War and The future of Syria after liberation

Iran can walk away as they are not a neighbouring country that has to deal with the fallout. Turkey doesnot have that option as it is a neighbouring country they have destablished and destroyed.

This will cost Turkey massively.

Exactly. This is what is confusing when reading the posts of Turkish members. Its like they are high on their neo-ottomanism. I think this will subside and they may come to regret certain decisions, if we look into our crystal ball.
Granted they have scored a strategic victory, but I believe its not going to be that long lived.

We have no clue what is to become of this new Syria, but its not far fetched to say its going to be a mess and probably get worse.
Turkey runs the risk of inheriting an absolute nightmare next door and could easily blow back to themselves.

Honestly, part of me is glad Iran was forced out of Syria through this rebel takeover. Iran would not have done so on their own accord, and Iran were bleeding resources into Syria.

The neighbouring countries Military need to prompt their own Governments to take immediate action now to push Zionist army back across the buffer line !!! Israel wanted to make sure that it controlled Mt. Hermon. They already controlled the SW side but only up to 2200 ft. The summit and the eastern side were unoccupied as a part of the ceasefire border agreement back in 1974. Israel occupied it in 1973, but surrendered it to the UN, at Kissinger's insistence, in the negotiations. Now, Israel has renounced that agreement and occupied that strategic location, that is important for the placement of weapons but perhaps even more important to intelligence gathering. The peak of Mt. Hermon puts all of South Lebanon as well as all of SW Syria under radar surveillance as well as enhanced visual surveillance.

The neighbouring countries have sat on their collective asses while close to 200k Palestinans have been killed by Israel. Do you really think they care about anything at all ?

That's a different case; the white trash of the world invaded us on our soil. Even then, they should have shelved their differences and kicked out the cancer.

But right now, the issue is Syria has no cover; what little it was provided was due to Russians through its link with Assad. Tell me, is the GCC going to ramp up support and provide cover? No.

Thus, in my opinion, and I respect your right to disagree, the Arab Spring and further conflict did much more harm than any good.
Ok let me give another example. The early days Chinese revolution. If you look at the first few decades it was hopeless but now look at the turn around.

And it’s not a different case. It’s same in essence, the subjugation of people and their will.

we spent $50 billion in Syria

luckily we don't have a border with Syria

let Turkey celebrate and deal with the new Libya on their borders

that $50billion would have been better spent on the Iranian Airforce. Look at how much Iran has sacrified its own security and what they have to show for it. Hopefully the next $50billion will be spent on the Iranian Airforce instead, more valuable spend and what Iran needs ( in addition to inward investment into its own people).

Are you sure that's not from the holocaust? 😲
An Israeli lackey posting "haunting pictures" after supporting a genocide for over a year that's quite rich.

I have a random question

Will this loss in Syria which will truly hurt Putin cause him to think about throwing china under the bus in order to gain concession from the west?

It seems like every man for himself now

Are the Chinese being mere observer's here whilst their bri takes a big hit?

Will they ever exert real power

Did Russia really stop Syria from attacking Israel all these years? Was that now a mistake?

Is Russia more scared of Israel

Chinese never get involved in anything ever, they are happy to sit on the sidelines.
