True to an extent. Unfortunately I’ve met so many Arab individuals who will, on one hand denounce Israel but on the other hand, support anything that ultimately benefits israel.

I’m not that optimistic.

I've lived in the West for a long time, and I've met tons of Iranians. If I try hard to remember all the ones I've known only one was religious, all the rest of them were very westernized, pro-Shah of Iran types. However, these pro-Shah Iranians are overall a small minority, although they make up the bulk of Iranians in the West.

Similarly, if you meet Muslims in America and they seem confused then you're looking at a very tiny minority who live in the US. Four million out of 2 billion. However, still, most of the Muslims in America that I meet, whether religious or secular, are horrified at the Israeli genocide of Palestinians. However, to survive in America you have to do business with Jews as we all know.

My bet is Israel may try to create a cooperative Syria. A friendly Syria is more useful than a broken and crazy Syria. Their ideal neighbor should be a Jordan.

In the last year I’ve only gained great respect for Iran, the Houthis and Hezbollah. They conducted themselves with great honor.

Have you run into many in Los Angeles area? They are an interesting bunch. Many of them say they are Persians and say they speak Persian. At first, I was a little confused thinking it as a dialect/ethnic difference. Then I realized its politics.
