Operation Marg Bar Sarmachar: Pakistan strikes Back

it can be done once as an excuse (suddenly Pakistan had to retaliate exactly one day after iran attacked terror camps inside Pakistan). What is your excuse next time? every time Iran attacks terrorists Pakistan suddenly finds terrorists in Iran as well 1 day after?

It will not remain like this after the attack in Kerman (killing 90 people) and attack in Rask (killing 12 policemen) in just less than 3 weeks. You will know that Iran is not some Pakistan where this kind of attacks are considered part of life. If salafi or baluch origin attacks occur again we know the source is mostly foreign, it's a foreign savagery, not part of Iranian habits.

Well, don't be fooled by IIRGC. Terrorism is NEVER ended by 1 missile strike. Whatever group you targeted only vowed to strike Iran even harder next time. Terrorism NEVER ends with air-strikes or missile strikes. It only complicate the situation. You need to learn geo-politics, Iranian state knows exactly that it was not eliminating terrorism by just one strike. Iran was only trying to create a false impression or an illusion to the world that its a regional power and can bully just anyone. Iran thought it keeps pounding Syria and Iraq several times and now its time to show its strength by hitting a nuclear armed country. Iran miscalculated, it's biggest mistake was to not count Pakistan's airforce in the equation. With a far more stronger airforce, Pakistan can operate with impunity over Iranian airspace and Iran's illusion of being a regional power will erode in no time.

Collateral damage, sadly.

The amount of fire power that was used, it was bound to happen. iREK is heavy duty stuff.

You guys in India were lucky that we offset the targets and didnt hit you directly with them during swift retort.
Four children and three women are among those killed in Thursday's raids, according to an Iranian official. It follows Iran's attack on Tuesday on Pakistani soil that authorities there said killed two children.

Na.

That's not it.

They bombed you on hard intel. And not for those little meaningless huts either.

Cheers, Doc

BLF, accepted that their locations / residences were hit. What else you need? Secondly, Pakistan didn't liked hitting them like this. Pakistan was forced to do so. Iran left no choice to Pakistan. Responsibility of any collateral damage lies on Iran.

I think Iran may not directly respond to thia but would start to use BLA as proxies by providing them weapons and support. Soni suspect terror attacks in Pakistan to rise further

From a pure relationship with Iran this should not have occurred.

But, it seems a message was being sent to other neighbors who suddenly felt more emboldened to whatever ideas they already had for election season.
Again same… I am glad Pakistan responded which was expected but if you think India will not act if there was a reason you are underestimating India’s resolve.

As there is no tension between India Pakistan currently and Modiji does not need Pakistan to win election so let’s keep between Iran and Pakistan.

There were no terrorists suddenly found, they have been there for years, search on google right now you'll find tens of articles where Pakistan continuously asks Iran to take action and yet the militant groups operate unabated. There was literally a video of them rifles out filling petrol at a local pump like nothing. Iran should introspect on the state of its own province where you have to cut the internet every Friday after prayer in Zahedan because you are afraid of protests. Look to your own self instead of lashing out externally.

Its very simple, Baluchistan need development not daily operations. We already dealing with Baluch missing protest in Islamabad and we discuss this many times. Baluch only demands jobs, we enjoy Gwadar revenue from China, Sui gas and mineral resources ...what we giving them in return, missing person ? ...Hamid Mir is one of worst class of journalist but he is right about Baluch people.
Raise the life of people of Baluchistan and they deserve equal rights. They are Pakistani too.
100% agree. Terrorism stems from having lack of jobs amd livelihood.

Provide them access to water and employ them in every possible field.

I feel Iran will have to respond to this attack. They are in same boat as Pakistan was few days back.
i dont think so, iran wont risk further escalation.
covert actions are possible but pakistan is more then a match in covert actions with loads of experience.
only time can tell but one thing is sure ball is in irans court pakistan has done its part .

I'm glad we don't have PM Imran Khan this time around. Our so called iranics are biased to hell and back when it comes to Iran, Afghanistan. Remember his tour to Iran few years ago?

Now again we need to increase PAF budget by reducing army budget. Need to cut army size by 100K and buy more toys for PAF.

Funny but army and infantry are used under different circumstances.

The entire episode is baffling.

It's like Iran had a headache so it decided chemotherapy was the best way to deal with it.

I think the best explanation I can think of is this was Iran's Balakot with Narendra Modi style planning. The outcome is not much different.
From another forum, someone wrote that the attack on Syria was to send a message to Israel, the attack on Erbil to let the US know their bases and interests are in sight and the attack on Pakistan is to say that they are not afraid of a nuclear power and are willing to have multiple fronts as well as absorb attacks.

I suppose that's not implausible, but also ridiculous and invites friendly nations to turn onto them.

Honestly I have not heard any intelligent Iranian response except.... We don't care etc etc
